That reply is probably quicker than their delivery service.0

Well, both mine and my parents' washing machine broke down within a week of each other and we both ordered one from Currys. Each washing machine was delivered five minutes before the four hour slot began, and we live in different cities. Must've been a lucky fluke :P0

Sorry, I didn't see the date of the original post :mad:0

I ordered a Bosch washing machine online and paid for it. I received an email confirming delivery on a Saturday. I stayed in all day but to no avail. I contacted Knowhow. I was informed that the delivery was actually scheduled for the Sunday. No one bothered to inform me. On Sunday afternoon I got a call saying that the delivery driver was violently ill but the delivery will definitely arrive on the Monday. I called on Monday morning and was assured that my machine was the third one on the delivery van. About 2 hours later I got a call informing me that they could not locate my machine! There was no explanation or an offer of another delivery. I had to cancel the order and asked for a refund. I lodged a complaint but was informed that I shall not get a response. I would not recommend this shower of a company.0

Little has changed with their customer service either - up to a week to reply to an email (current email to them 2 days and counting on waiting for a reply). They have failed to call back numerous times when we've tried the phone route too.
Now "Newly Married" & extra happy!

I have recently been told that the wait on an email reply from them is around 10 days.

I have stayed in all day waiting for the delivery of a range cooker from Curry's Ashford, Kent, we were asked by Curry's to take out our old cooker in advance of the delivery, which we did. We were given a time on their tracking system of between 3pm and 7pm on Tuesday, by 8.10pm no delivery and no phone call to explain why. I trieded to phone Curry's but was placed in a queue for 35 minuets and had to hang up. What a shower, I wont deal with this company again, its a shame Comet went into administration, as Curry's now have no competition and treat their customers with contempt.
I sit here now with nothing to cook on and no idea as to when my cooker will be delivered. I cannot afford to have another day of work to await another failed delivery. If you want my advice purchase from a more caring supplier. If Curry's had as many personnel sorting out their deliveries as they have sales staff they might be a better company with a better image.
I'm back its now two days later, and after repeated phone calls to Curry's help line I was asked by Rosetta what time slot I would like as I had been messed about for my delivery. she informed me that the 7am to 11 am time slot was not available so I agreed a time of between 9am and 1pm for Thursday.
Its Thursday and I have just been onto their online site KNOWHOW to check on my delivery time, to be informed my item has not even been dispatched yet and the time is now 9.am and that my delivery time slot is now estimated to be between 11am and 3pm. I believe their knowhow web site should be changed to "we haven't got a clue" or "We have No Know How". I would suggest If you want to keep your sanity you should order from a more reputable company who have a customer care policy, as it would seem with Curry's as soon as they have your money they just couldn't give a dam or care about the amount of inconvenience they put you through. I would never purchase anything from them again.:(0 -
Consider yourself lucky that you didn't order the "integrated appliance" fitting service.
After watching the first team bust the dishwasher feet and having to arrange a new one then the follow up team having to borrow my tools to make a poor job of fitting the second I now know everything that can go wrong with this job so will be doing it myself in future. I had to redo the poor door fitting myself anyway to get it to close without catching.0 -
We ordered dishwasher 28th March for delivery 3rd April. Got call 3rd April in PM stating dishwasher damaged so no delivery- they could deliver monday 6th- we reply not in in afternoon but they say no problem we will deliver in morning. Get text Sunday night stating delivery in afternoon so have to cancel and rearrange for Friday 10th April. Get slot for 4-9pm night before delivery after booking day off (so waste of day off). Then get call at 5pm stating dishwasher damanged (again) so can't deliver. No real apology but last effort made to get what we've paid for and ask for deliver Wednesday 15th- promised ok but ask for first delivery and they say they'll get back to us. No call till today when I call to follow up (I don't want to take anothe day off)- they haven't booked the Wednesday and now can't deliver till Thursday (when I can't take day off). Absolute joke customer care, poor and to be avoided at all costs.
