Yes, but now I will just self-study. I wouldn't call it "a change of career" because I am a carer anyway more like an enhancment0 -

You'll be able to in a couple of weeks once you get your wage, most people pay rent from their wages.
As for wanting more income from benefits to save for a house, words simply fail me. If you want an asset of that kind, then you need to work hard not look to others to fund it.0 -

My main point in all of this was I wanted something to tide me over/ to contribute with. Until I get my first wage from either job. Earliest will be middle of october. JSA don't really go very far...

when your on JSA that's what your supposed to use to pay your way...0 -
The point is Brett, you've been living with your parents up to now without giving them this money, a few extra weeks is not going to make much of a difference. JSA isn't suppose to go far, it's for essentials. You're very lucky - your parents pay for your rent, utilities and food - thus your JSA stretches further than most. Save your JSA for getting to work and back, then when you get your wages you can start paying something towards your keep.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0

Your probably right, probably best just save it for transport, I know how lucky I am. I lived alone for a year I do know how much things cost.
I have only been back living with him since july0 -

I'm suspecting a wind up though given you've now posted re HB, another thread re WTC due to "expectional" circumstances and another re DLA plus a thread where you plan to buy a house abroad.
