I work at tesco doing the labels and the date on the SEL was october, I had to call the helpdesk as the offer wasn't working and they told me the offer had been cancelled. probably sold too many!

I would have thought their would have been a severe shortage of batteries in T's after the battery glitch a few weeks ago:rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

At the risk of being shot down in flames .... doesn't it occur to anyone that buying large quantities of items JUST for the DTD may mean that Tesco will stop offering it if it's being abused?

It pops up every now and again, but it is cheaper for tesco to keep overcharging people on lots of different items and only doing the odd DTD (think how many people don't check receipts) than it is to get the prices correct. that and Trading Standards can issue fines for overcharging, which would be more.....

If something goes through the till at twice the displayed price, it only needs for 2 people to buy it and not notice to pay the DTD for one that does. And they sell lots of everything and have lots of stores....

The whole spirit of money saving is turning sour.

If Tesco slips up, fair due to them to give you some recompense. (I've been caught out with the meat offers, only ever dtd once)

BUT people here actively pursuing the dtd on purpose and posting it here, leaves a bitter taste!!!

I totally agree! It is almost like stealing. Plus all these refunds affect my total pricing errors weekly reports and get me into trouble lol
  • and I will be using these forums as a way to find out these so called glitches that make people a fortune so I can remove incorrect labels/POS.
