Tesco battery glitch!!

Hi, I just got back from Tesco where they have extra long life x8 AAA batteries, buy 1 get 2 free but not coming up at the till. They are £3.50 each but unfortunately i didn't have enough money on me to cover it and had to mention it at the till so missed out on DTD, they took the shelf edges off as i left the store, but others might still be up and running. Hope someone else can get DTD from this

I had a look at the batteries b4 and I noticed all the SEL had been removed at both Tescos I went to b4....(only looked cos of the glitch b4)0

Bit weird as I bought 3 packs of AAA last Wednesday and £7 was automatically deducted. (the offer is mentioned kindly elsewhere on MSE)
It's not showing as an offer anymore on my supermarket for AAA and AA have gone!!!0 -

Offer not on Tesco groceries either. (offer was listed as on until 4/10)
They have energizer 8pack AA £4.50 ea or 2 for £6 until 4/10 :
