There's "accidents" and there's "reportable incidents"
........... then there's incidents that you don't need to report under IAA rules that you would under the CAA.0 -

they quote Quantas as being only 85% below.
I was pleased to read the report, I did debate not looking thou... just in case;)Visit beautiful Mid Wales:j0 -
I can't knock people for using them if all that matters is cheap, after all this is the money saving expert site so doing things on the cheap is a big issue.
Fortunately I have not had to work for a company yet that is so poor to have to send me on Ryanair for business
...and for holidays - its got to be about relaxing and minimum hassle.
Having to worry that I had remembered to print my own flight safety instruction card on an acceptable shade of rice paper, paid for my flight using a bank of Katmandu triple super rate pre-paid euro cash card, and crumpled my clothes into a tetrahedron shaped case weighting less than a sock - is not relaxing.
Relaxing is chucking loads of stuff you probably won't need including the kitchen sink into a case the size of a wardrobe, rolling up to check-in waving my passport at them and flopping down in the plane for a nap, and being able to go for a wee without borrowing a quid.0 -
Just for the record for people who don't know, Ryanair don't charge for the loo, a wee (or anything else) is free. It also makes no difference if you are travelling with BA or Ryanair on-line check-in and printing out your own boarding card in the comfort of your own home or office is the minimum of hassle.
As for the implication that it is only the poor travellers or companies who use Ryanair, how many European airports to BA fly to direct from London? a lot less that Ryanair. Where are the BA operated flights from London to say Cork, Carcassonne, Rodez, Perpignan etc. etc. etc. etc. Where is the BA flight from Bristol to Beziers or Plymouth to Cork (that one is long gone).
We wouldn't like anyone who still looking forward to their first Ryanair flight to be
misled would we.0 -

Calm down dear! :j no wonder they charge £30 to put air in the planes tyres , they need to keep you in commission!
I was just making the point that (quite obviously in tongue in cheek way
) that I (and my employers) would rather (happily:)) pay for a more straight forward service. 0 -
It is amazing though how many people do listen to their 'mates in the pub' who aren't dealing with this in a lighthearted way and do think that you can't get the £6 all in flights, you have to pay to use the loos etc. etc.
I still think the best moneyspinner for St Michael would be segregated seating, paying extra NOT to sit with your kids.
Seriously (for a second) apart front sub-tenner flights the biggest advantage of using Ryanair for me is they go from close by to where I want to go to.
When it comes to tongue in cheek, I did start this thread by saying.....
"Nothing to say actually, I just wanted to see how many moneysavers would bite if I put Ryanair in the title."0 -

Good job we're all different then!
Already have my Escape card tucked away in my purse and pressing "Print" to produce my boarding passes was hardly taxing in return for £39.99 for an outward-bound flight to Rhodes.
Packing my 10kg holiday wardrobe for 35 degrees of Greek sunshine in my Sub OG carry-on bag is a breeze, even for this lady who likes to make-up and have a different outfit most evenings. Refreshing not to drag all the cr*p along and so much better when you get home and have the unpacking to deal with.
No queuing to check-in ; straight through security and time for a browse round the beauty counters and breakfast before heading to the gate. My choice of row 16 extra leg-room aisle seats easily secured both ways at no extra charge, as a single traveller.Snacked on salad and fresh mango chunks from my Boots Meal Deal on the way and a vodka and orange juice from the bar. No, 10.30am is not too early for a drink, I'm on my holidays!
Manchester to Rhodes the fastest I've ever done it, 3 hours 40mins on the way out!
The Ryanair fanfare is well-justified imo!
