I've been searching for about an hour as to where to post this message that ireceived from National Express. On another thread it says there is a designated thread for restaurant coupons but I've given up looking as I must get back to work.
If you are visiting Merry Hill (West Midlands) before this year and plan to have lunch you may find this useful, and if anyone can locate the correct thread it should go on please feel free to copy and post it....
If you are going to Merry Hill this festive season make sure you pay a visit to the concierge desk on the lower mall by River Island where you can pick up some free food vouchers to use at the shopping centre.
Here you can save money on such places as Harry Ramsden’s, Frankie & Benny’s, Yums and more! Even if you are doing sale shopping after Christmas, these vouchers are valid right until 31 December 2011.

but I wasn't paying anything for 150g bag.(sometimes they paid me to take them away!)
I have been checking my local HB but they've never stocked them
probably time I weaned myself and work colleagues off them anyway. I guess the new year is a good enough time as any

    Too much hoo-ha, really!!
I don't think it matters which thread you use as long as it benefits you. Personally I look at both threads 'discussed' here. The more you look at, the more you might find, if you don't then you've lost only a moment or two of your time.
No real need for jealously, upset, competitiveness or any nasty comments here from anyone at all. Both threads are helpful & useful.

I would say most threads on this forum benefit some people in one way or another, let's leave it at that and get on with the real business of saving ourselves, and others, money!!

    Kind regards to ALL

In regards to the phrase I've highlighted - yes it is mostly true that the more threads you look at the more likely you are to find something of interest to you. But not in the case of the two threads 'discussed' as one is a blatent 'copy and paste' of the other. All I am asking for is that the people who find the offers in the first place get the credit they deserve. (None of which are me BTW in case you think I'm 'upset' or 'jealous').

There are plenty of posts (especially on grabbit) where there is a link to the original OP when it may have been posted on a different board, thread or site. Again, this is not a new concept nor 'competitiveness' it is simply manners and polite courtesy.

Duplicate posts on many boards are merged into one - the BG's here have decided that the thread is relevant so it stays seperate, and if people find it useful then so be it, but even the MSE weekly newsletter links back to the original post of an offer and I don't see why that thread should be the exception to the rule?

Y'know - I usually stay in the background, don't get involved, share anything I'm lucky to find and play nice. I'm not the first to bring this issue up and I very much doubt I'll be the last. I've said my piece now - and I don't particularly think I was 'nasty' - and I won't add to it or respond any further as I don't think there is anything else to say.

I assure you Sarah, nothing I said was directed specifically at you, or anyone one person.

I hear what you're saying, I don't think you're wrong as such, nor right either. I think it's useful to have PDF's in a separate place too. Whether or not it is a copy & paste effort matters not, really. I know what you mean, that people should get credit where credit is due, I think though as long as the information is getting to us one way or another then we're all grateful for everyone's help, right?

Same as that. I'm happy and grateful for any help, advice and information I gleam from this wonderful site. Was just asking that we ALL play nicely, leave the squabbles and get on with what we DO have.

As I said, nothing personally directed at you or anyone specifically just a polite request to leave all the squabbling at the door and enjoy the bounty that is MSE!!

We'll (all) leave it at that then, eh and crack on with the important task of saving money!! ;)

    :xmassign: to you too !!!
