I bought some of each of these coupons privately from this seller, & they arrived a few days ago.
They were very, very poor quality copies/scans of original coupons - i wouldn't recommend any one buying them from her.
I sent the seller a message to let her know that they were not usable & she gave me a refund, but hasn't taken them off auction.
i did point out to her that you aren't supposed to copy/scan coupons like this but it doesn't seem to have discouraged her - i'm totally amazed she has had positive feedback from most of her buyers - if lots of these are used i can see it causing a great deal of trouble for fraudulant coupon use.
most of the coupons have unique, trackable numbers on too, and they look like ones that a retailer would send out as a gesture of goodwill if someone has complained about an item.
the cadbury coupon sent to us for example is a single sided coupon (it should be double sided) that says 'only redeemable against key brands, please see reverse', and of course there is nothing on the back of the copy.
the cathedral city coupon has (important!) bits of the coupon strategically missing, and the Ben & Jerry's is the free Facebook one that was around a while ago that has been copied and folded over to attempt to make it double sided.
In fact, non of the coupons she has for sale are 'proper' coupons, even though my OH asked her many questions before we bought from her, and she assured us that they were genuine, internet printable coupons that could be used in multi-outlets.
please don't buy or use these coupons!

sorry to hear of you experience RW

    sadly not unexpected
by writing to companies to get coupons, you'd not be sent the volume she has for sale. clearly selling fakes/copies of genuine coupons
perhaps she should be reported to ebay

makes me mad :mad::mad::mad::mad: too when you see coupons for sale that are readily downloadable for free.

all the coupons you mentioned sound like ones you get from writing compliment/complaint letter to companies as a gesture of good will
except in her case shes copied the genuine one and selling them

why not write to a few companies yourself
    thread here for said subject

just out of interest are they the ones who sell coupon by picture/logo of product and not actually pic of coupons themselves???

see that puts me off straight away. i like to see what i'm buying not that i'd ever buy coupons online but thats my personal choice

sorry all for little rant, really makes me :mad::mad: when people get ripped off

she should be reported to ebay for fraudulent sales.

Other people get listings pulled and they are for genuine products but according to ebay they are breaching rules.

just had a quick search of ebay and found them easily ( kelloggs and cathedral city)

seems to be just 3/4 sellers selling coupons that are readily available free.
annoys me but if people will buy then people will sell
the comfort/persil and dettol seems to be favourites

and one has a suspiously large amount of 50p off twinings coupons.

  • Ive been caught myself with buying coupons on ebay. The problem being if the seller doesnt give you a refund paypal wont either as they dont cover coupons.
