thats quite amusing isnt it... if they are so worried about encouraging drinking they shouldn't have any offers on alcohol at all. Also if this is the true reason why are they accepting the john crabbies coupon still, supermarket decisions are so strange arent they?

My hubby is stockpiling the ginger beer as he loves it... he has one or two a week, i personally dont drink but i tried this product the other day. I only had a sip but it tasted like a strong soft drink... but very nice.

i sold the cans of reloaded i managed to get, as hubby didnt like them due to the caffiene and ginseng and my son is only 20 so not something we would encourage, so i will put the money i made towards my couponing.

the heinz five beanz have been a reelation though, i now have 40 tins and ive had them with toast.. v nice, and also made chilli bean stew and also mixed them into a normal meat chilli so far.... has anyone else got any good ideas for them?

I also got my asda store to give me a box of 100 in one go and gave them straight to a homeless charity. Obviously he checked the moc first etc. The mgr at our store loves couponers as he says it gets customers in shopping and trying new products but he prefers it if you just let him know if you want more than 15 of a product so he can ensure the stock is on hand, and because the stock ordering is done automatically, it means he can flag it that a run on a product isnt because its suddenly going to be a great seller, its because we have a moc so he knows that if he flags it, he wont be left with the product unsaleable when the moc ends.

hi may i ask where you got the crabbies moc from Please

This is what I am wondering as well. I cant see any of us liking the Reloaded and I cant see Foods banks accepting it because of the alchol content, probally against Freecycle rules, same for any Christmas collection for the Sally Army etc.

I suppose Bottle Tombolas might take some ...

  • nipped into Mr A at lunch time, got 4 tins of the reloaded and 2 colgate 360 toothbrushes for a grand total of 50p :j:j

thanks to OP for kitkat coupon - i am on a diet and these are perfect low cal treats :) on deal in As and Ts just now 8 pack for £1 so that works out 6.25p per 2 finger bar....cant grumble at that!!!

Thanks for this I didn't know you could eat these as part of a diet.

Will come in handy as my son is on a diet and has asked me to draw up a list of foods that he can choose from at each dinner.
Wont be easy as I have never been on a diet (although have a bit of fat I could lose at mo).

Chicken fillets, salad or green vegs
    Porrage
bovril as a snack ( and now kitkat)
    Fish and salad, green veg

I don't have much to go on. lol

    jax
hope you all are well xx

    hi & welcome kcoles

firstly unfortunately no its not really possible to achieve what they do in the usa. just isn't that amount of coupons available and supermarkets here are stricter and sometime more awkward at taking coupons

so building up a rapport with nice SAs helps and if you can shop around for best offers

i'd suggest too when you have some spare time to read 1st pages as there is loads of useful info there, just takes a little while to look through but well worth it

see my previous post re: using coupons, as i've said coupons best used when products are on offer

  • I tried to use a Heinz Five Beans coupon in Morries today but it was refused. The SA took it to the cash office. A lady came from cash office and said that I could not use it because it was "under investigation" from head office. She said it was because it was not scanning at the right price. I said it did not matter now because it was scanning at the price they were selling the beans at. She said "investigations" sometimes took four or five weeks......
