  • re the dettol coupons... i printed no problem BUt before i print i always now change my compatability settings... im on vista yet i change to windows 95 or xp... no idea why this works but then i can print fine and i dont need to keep reinstalling coupon printer. So just go to my computer, then the folder where the coupon printer you are trying to use is saved, then right click on properties, select the compatable tab and change it there.

It may work and it may not...

regarding the SSM coupons ... beware the tips you are posting.. aftr printing my coupons i have been banned! i emailed and asked why and was told i had spammed because i posted the same tip twice by accident and another user reported it.

Regarding the comfort pure pdf i used it fine in tescos this week

Regarding the lady who said she had used several coupons for one product which she had won on ssm.... i checked the coupons and she is right they dont state one per product/item but when i tried it i was refused and they even then went through all my £220 shopping trolley checking every item! ive never ever used a coupon in the wrong way yet i felt like a thief

Lenor 500ml was £1 in Tesco today so got 10 free with my ssm coupons... cant see this on first page but i am rather stupid..lol

Head and shoulders 75ml 5for £4 so free with 4 coupons in tescos.

Thanks for all the coupon finds... i look everynight on different website but no new finds yet my dears

There is a big sainsbury's a few miles away and every coupon I bring in there they accuse of being photocopied or faked or altered even if they are in colour, it seems like every member of staff has never seen printable coupons in their entire life; which is really odd because it is a large store so surely someone must have tried to use them. Also many of the coupons are only for Sainsbury's. Local S are lovely but there is a restriction in most London S stores on couponstar coupons-you can only use one of the exact same couponstar coupon per transaction due to something built into their POS system so that limits what offers you can use it with, also they have an extremely poor selection of products for a decent sized store so many times I have gone in with several coupons for several different things and come out with nothing because they sell none of them!

Some people can get £40 worth of stuff for free but it is probably 'a load of old tut', to quote Lord Sugar that they won't ever use anyway. Better to save 25-50% (or more if you're lucky) on stuff you do use than to get stuff you won't for absolutely free. On average I use £10 of coupons per shopping trip, even ignoring what I am saving with special offers alone; just the value of the coupons over 10 trips is 100 pounds-that really isn't something to be sniffed at :) xx

    hi

everything i get free i use, i would think it unfair to have things i dont use, however i do often get somethings for friends or family and they do use them. if that makes any sense lol.

Just tried to use the Lotus Caramelised Biscuits 20p coupon in Waitrose and was told that they no longer take coupons off the Internet. They only take something that has Safe Coupon wording on it or their own coupons out of their magazine. :(

Didn't mean to offend; there are people who get loads of moneys worth of stuff for free, like yourself who do genuinely use it or pass onto friends and family. But there are also people who do get free things just for the sake of it :o and there is little point in doing that and they can make 'normal' couponers feel a bit inadequate sometimes-if you are getting stuff you use and saving 50% that is still great, that is 50% you wouldn't have saved otherwise! xx

I think thats the individual branch because my local one takes any printed coupons without question. I wish that SSM coupons could be used in waitrose because they do have really good offers sometimes and don't give you hassle xx

except the Aunt Bessie's coupon now says on it 'only one per transaction' I am pretty sure it didn't used to because the one I printed in Jan I double checked and it didn't say anything of that ilk, depends how much you want to play by the book I suppose :rotfl:
