    Just put Ocean Spray blueberry on my Asda list but only get 2 - £1.35 and use the 50ps and they should price match Tescos BOGOF.

    Just checked tesco.com and some Ocean spray are price dropped to £1 and some are BOGOF which is very confusing so you have to make a precise list. Possiblities though for a DD if they are wrongly labelled on the SEL in your store and you end up paying £2 for 2 cartons rather than the BOGOF £1.35

    Dont forget large domestos £2.98 Asda and £1.49 at tesco if you need something cheap to make up the 8 item the own brand salt is 29p in both

    hope everyone is feeling well today. back to rain here ah welll i knew the sun wouldnt last.
    but did have some interesting post this morning, i had a booklet with luncheon vouchers off edenred. this was what i was paid for doing a survey with pinecone last week. never heard of these vouchers but said on the back of booklet that tesco was one of the stores they can be used in. put my shopping through on SS and the first voucher went through but the second one wouldnt. SA came along and was a bit skeptical, so i made her read the booklet haha. she put the rest through no problem.
    has anyone heard of these?

    Luv P

    yes, I use LV all the time when I get paid by Pinecone for doing their surveys.

    You need to goto a normal till with them, as the SA needs to tear out each page and scan it, to take if off your shopping.

    They are valid, nothing wrong with them and can be used at Tesco.

    Also other places.

    hi MM
    sorry without access to another pc and email address
    you won't be able to get more huggies coupons

    the ones on ebay will be either from using several pcs/email or they'll be just plain old copies of an original coupon which is fraud so under no circumstances be tempted to do this

    don't copy your coupons - if you are caught the shop can bar you. It is sooooo not worth it.

    Picked a bad SA in Tesco today.
    I had two Rustlers burgers (BOGOF), 2x comfort pure, 1x oral b toothpaste.

    ==============

    Me: *hands over 4x coupons*

    SA: *examines coupons as if she'd never seen one in her life* "You can't use photocopies"

    Me: "I have a black and white printer, they're not photocopies. And the comfort ones are a PDF coupon which you can print as many as you like"

    SA: "Well they look like photocopies." *beckons supervisor over*

    Me: *panicking at the thought of having to pay full price*

    Supervisor to SA: "Yes?"

    SA to supervisor: "These are photocopies. We can't take them can we. Plus these two have the same barcodes."

    Supervisor: "That one looks real, that one looks photocopied" (comfort coupons - they were both EXACTLY THE SAME !!!!!!)

    Me: "EXCUSE ME, THEY AREN'T PHOTOCOPIES, I ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT I HAVE A BLACK AND WHITE PRINTER" *can you heaaaarrrrr meeeee*

    Supervisor to SA: *whispers something, rolls eyes and sighs* "Just scan them, see if they work"

    Me: *red faced and dying to get out of the shop*

    SA: *took my money and gave me the most snide look like I was stealing from her own pocket*

    ==============

    What I want to know is HOW some people manage to buy £40+ of stuff and pay with coupons alone. I couldn't even get that tiny little lot and it wasn't exactly free - paid £1.78 cash.

    Then went to Sainsburys and had no problem getting more Comfort - that SA seemed more interested to know where I got the coupons from as she thought it was a good deal.

    There is a big sainsbury's a few miles away and every coupon I bring in there they accuse of being photocopied or faked or altered even if they are in colour, it seems like every member of staff has never seen printable coupons in their entire life; which is really odd because it is a large store so surely someone must have tried to use them. Also many of the coupons are only for Sainsbury's. Local S are lovely but there is a restriction in most London S stores on couponstar coupons-you can only use one of the exact same couponstar coupon per transaction due to something built into their POS system so that limits what offers you can use it with, also they have an extremely poor selection of products for a decent sized store so many times I have gone in with several coupons for several different things and come out with nothing because they sell none of them!

    Some people can get £40 worth of stuff for free but it is probably 'a load of old tut', to quote Lord Sugar that they won't ever use anyway. Better to save 25-50% (or more if you're lucky) on stuff you do use than to get stuff you won't for absolutely free. On average I use £10 of coupons per shopping trip, even ignoring what I am saving with special offers alone; just the value of the coupons over 10 trips is 100 pounds-that really isn't something to be sniffed at :) xx
