There is no requirement that you need to undertake a course to do GCSE exams, anybody can book in to take a GCSE at their local FE college, you don't even have to study at all if you don't want. The fees for English, Maths and Biology comes to around £56 in total, you can get self study books which take you through the syllabus from WHSmith and other places."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -

Will ANY Further education college let me do it with them, without taking their course first?. My local college is only a 40 minute bus ride away. The next one is an hours train ride. So if my local one will do it that would be fantastic0 -

You would have to ask. Some may not as it will affect their results figures.
I know home-schooled kids can take the exams at local high schools, but I'm not sure that would work for an adult.
It all depends on your existing skills and learning style. If your maths, English, science is pretty much at GCSE standard and your adept at learning through reading then doing the exams independent would be cost effective. However, if your going to need more input, then a course including tuition is the better option.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0
