phones4u have offered me an early upgrade which is what i was looking around for anyway.
htc sensation,24 month contract, 300mins, unlimited texts, 500mb data £31 per month plus £100 cashback.
is it cheeky to ask for £150 if i take out their phone insurance at £7.99pm, then surely the salesman would get his commission. Then cancel it after a month, or does it not work like that?
i have 1 hour until i leave, many thanks people.
any other good offers greatly appreciated!

If you can afford to buy the phone outright it would be much cheaper!
You can get the phone for £401 here (maybe cheaper elsewere), and at £10 month get 250 mins, unlimited test and unlimited data with giffgaff (using them for comparison, look around for any better deals). You would not be tied into a contract and can change the no of mins per month etc.
The deal you have posted you are paying £21 x 24 for the phone (over giffgaff) = £504, and you will quickly find that 500Mb is no where near enough data for an android phone so add at least another £5 a month for data. You are also tied in for 24 months and risk massive bills if not careful when roaming.
Worth considering this option...
Edit: With the £100 cashback it works out to be a similar price but cashback isnt guaranteed and you have to consider how much data you will use... If you dont plan on using much data, why get a top of the range smart phone?0 -
thanks for the advice, it will give me something to think about. Cant really afford to shell out £400 to buy upfront though.0

If you took the insurance then cancelled it the salesperson would lose their comission. I doubt theyd give you £50 for taking insurance0

Read the first line "If you can afford to buy the phone outright it would be much cheaper!". Where have I assumed the OP could spend £400 outright? I have suggested if he could then he could save money.
Off topic, but I always think if you cant afford to buy something you shouldnt get it. Much better to save up for something than buy it on credit and pay more for it. Short of a mortgage (not yet but planning), I never buy anything until I have enough to pay outright, then I can be sure I can afford it. It is also much quicker to save for something if I dont have loads of money going out each month on a TV, phone, car, catalogues etc.0 -

If you cannot afford luxurious items don't by them on credit unless this credit is free or very cheap.0 -
