Not just Mothercare either - so many places sell cute baby stuff it's a struggle not to come away with things that you might need, or are just too beautiful to leave in the shop!

Managed to walk past the baby section today to go get myself a waterfall cardigan, but it was really hard, even though the baby has more outfits than me and her father put together:rotfl:

Oooops. Think i might be doing imminent pre baby nesting. Just made DH move stuf round the bedroom, so we could put the crib in place. Plus sorting and chucking in the spare room, and i've got the bizarrre urge to sort through DH's socks and do a major cull.
Plus i'm feeling very odd. Flushed, a bit pukey, and pulsing pains in my back....

Wellll - no baby yet! Came home at 8am (cant remember what I posted last at all!) managed to sleep or dose in bed for a while but pains getting worse - sorry if tmi but then felt like going for a No2 and did. Then about half an hour later did another! Then the pains stopped. Tried to eat a bit of pasta. Fell asleep for about 30 mins or so on sofa, got some more pains then went to the loo again and stopped again!

Just been to Asda/Boots for a walk around to try and get things going which at the time felt like it did but now im home seems to have slowed down again. No contractions at all again. Had no complications throughout pregnancy at all so will be quite dissapointed not to able to go in the birthing centre. If nothing has happened by 10pm will need to go back in on the main ward and be induced. Nothing I can do if thats the case but was so hoping for a water birth or at least in the birth centre as it is so so nice and relaxing in there.

Ohh noticed you talking about shaing/waxing down there - honestly I was going to make sure it was all clean and tidy but once it happens and the midwife has her hand up there I couldnt of cared at all !!

Found the midwifes small talk of 'any plans for NYE?' Whilst her had has touching the babies head!

Will try and keep updated but once the pain started earlier could not think about making it on here!
My dad is hoping im in the local paper as the first baby of 2012 but it would have to be a really speedy delivery from now if that was to happen!

Ohh and ordered the rubber ring yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning - could not believe it so If stitches required I got my ring!

Thanks for all your kind wishes....at least I may have my baby tomorrow! Never wanted to be in pain so much! XxX

Fingers crossed for Cloudberry too, hope you get the birthing centre rather than the labour ward!!!

I have just done my tax return (finally), three hours works has resulted in a repayment of £188 due to me from Mr Taxman I am tempted to spend this on myself seeing as I had to pay the blasted tax to start with ... ohhhh what to squander it on??? I know it will end up being stuff for Elvis or maternity stuff for me, no actual treaty thing IYKWIM.

DH went off to work several hours ago, not too sure when I shall see him tomorrow morning, I've told him to try to text me if he thinks he will be very late after his shift is due to finish (2am) but it's more than likely as central London will be heaving with revellers.

I am about to order my curry for collection - Lamb Biryani with vegetable curry and a peshwari naan nom nom nom!! I will then sit on the sofa with the remote and Snoop Cat and go to bed early. It's all go in this house :rotfl:

Heres hoping for a better yr next yr, had enough bad news and funerals to last a decade this yr

I am planning on getting to sleep quite early tonight, as i`m sure the fireworks will wake me up later anyway haha! Fingers crossed DD3 sleeps in later than the 5am she seems to have her body clock set to atm. Cant complain too much tho, she is always asleep as soon as her head hits the pillow at bedtime and sleeps right thru now lol.
Does anyone know if Matalan have their NY sale starting 2moro?? I was up there for 9am opening last yr and had the whole store to myself for 45 mins xx

Don't know if they have a new sale starting tomorrow, as well as the one already on. The website says that it is normal Sunday Trading hours tomorrow though.

Ah thanks Kira, I`ll give it a miss then. Got tons last yr, jeans were £3 a pair!!
I`m so bored, no one on facebook to chat to as most friends r out or having parties themselves! Is there an MSE pregnancy facebook page by any chance?! lol xx

I had to have a nap after I'd eaten far too much, OH is still snoozing. Think we will have to watch Alan Carr on plus 1 once he wakes up.
