I'm so glad I'm not the only one doing stupid things :o I know I'm leaving it up to OH to sort me out in that department before going to the hospital, it's timing it right though, too soon and it's not good, but if I leave it too late we won't have time  :rotfl:

I`ve almost posted a few times something similar but felt like a right idiot so didnt....but......new red/pink knickers arent a good idea when preg, the fluff comes off, and if u wipe with white toilet paper, well u know what i thought the first few times haha!
Lovecrafting, i`m the same, never mind what the midwife thinks, i`m sure she`s seen worse! I watched a thing on Home and Health the other day and the woman giving birth was totally bald down there. All i could think was who the hell bothers with that at 9 months preg haha! xx
    Mummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3, :D and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T
  • omg totally bald is nowere near going to happen, altho my husband (now in the dog house) has informed me (as a result of the current conversation on this thread) that altho keeping my knees warm is a good idea at this time of year, it may be an idea to have a trim, i was like !!!!!!

I always trim every now and then. It never all comes off as I will dread the rash and itching. As much as he would like that! And it's more for myself than him. Just feels much neater. Once bump gets bigger and I can no longer see my foo foo then he will have to do it (god help me) or stay as it ends up!!

Ahh I'm loving it, got the Red Hot Chilli Peppers on and baby is going crazy in there :D hopefully this indicates he will have good music taste and not want to listen to the crap that half the kids these days listen to.

    hi everyone!

Congratulations mimi well done on coping so well without the drugs

    Good luck cloudberry!

just wanted to pop in and let you all know that tonight i am having faggots for tea!!! ACID REFLUX went straight after birth and i love eating and sleeping!!

Ellie is amazing she likes to feed every 4 hours. (breastfed) and sleeps so well. She is a strong girl!!

    ADVICE

Take plenty of food to the hospital. also take a couple of packs of maternity pads! Drink loads of water as soon as your contractions start as i had to go on a drip and it was restricting! also take some 0-3 clothes as Ellie didnt fit the newborn i took in!

Worse buy for me has been the baby bath she is to long for it and it takes up so much space. also top and tail bowl as takes up to much space so i am using a small tub for water instead. These might be others best buys but for me they werent!

Also car seats dont buy online. i bought one online it is a rubbish fit in the car so i have had to get a different one. cant return it as it is used and if i sell it i will get !!!!!! all for it was it is classed as a new car seat. go somewhere and get one fitted!

Best buys have been fleece blankets, muslims (never used them with DD1 but we are using loads?) also lansinoh cream is amazing Ellie had a feeding blister and the cream cleared it up within 6 hours!!! Also great for sore boobs!

Ellie is a week old tomorrow and has already outgrown size 1 nappies!! I have swapped 10 packets for size 2 already!

Hope you are all well and your bumps are growing nicely!!
:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart :( Proven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
