The worst will be NYE, gawd knows what time I will see him. I will do what I did last year - get a curry takeaway, sit on the sofa with the remote control and the cat and then go to bed early

I really dislike NYE so what you have planned I'd be happy enough with. My OH is working early both NYE and NYD, which we're not too bothered about, it's being on my own that pees me off more anything. Luckily this year all I want to do is sleep so that is what I'll be doing too

As for me I had a good one, got spoilt by OH with a new mobile (never getting a blackberry again. Be glad to get rid lol) and mac make up! (Not very MSE I know but we figured after this year we'll be buying more for the baby at Xmas than each other.) OH went to look at sales for jeans yesterday (by himself because I'm quite uncomfortable now.) It was sooo cute when he only came back with disney clothes for the baby awww

Pregnancy wise I can now add swollen feet and ankles to my symptoms I have my 37 week MW appt tomorrow so hopefully everything is ok blood pressure wise!

Morning all, I am home now. Got home 8pm last night. Last night was a bit tough. My back is hurting and I feel a bit cold and shake a lot. Baby fed and messed from 11 until 2 then we slept okay apert from me being in pain. Going to try and get some pain killers today I will post a pic when I am on the pc

I know I have another 5 weeks of baby making to do and I know that the baby will be healthier the longer it stays inside, but does anyone else feel slightly disappointed they didn't get there baby for Christmas? I think I will hope next for a New Years Eve baby!

Congratulations again Jenjade, I'm jealous, apparently being cold is fairly normal as you are no longer baking in your oven

I think I will go to the mothercare sale today and buy a car seat, hope everyone has a good day!

Nope not me Carmilla! I want Pip to stay in there as long as possible! We want a nice big gap between Christmas and baby! Not least because OH bought me a 'mum-to-be' spa massage thingy so I want to be able to have that before Pip arrives! Although having said that, I do think a New Year's Day baby would be nice...

I now appear to be developing carpal tunnel syndrome, my fingers are so stiff in the mornings, and if I wake up in the night...

Glad to hear you're home now Jenjade! I hope things get easier for you soon, and you feel better! Does she have a name yet?

Stacey - my left foot swelled a bit xmas day but I had my shoes on and it seems that they are starting to get more likely to swell so am keeping all footwear off. Hope u get on ok with mw.

Everytime someone posts the list its scaring me now.... :eek::eek:

Worried about scan today told hubby dont want ecv, he has been feeling it a lot trying to work if its head down, hope the mw is right as they think its 80% he is....

Depending on how things go may stop at mothercare etc on way back, realised we dont have any 'protector sheets' for car, bed if fluid leaks. Also think might need a couple for crib.

Anyone else portion up xmas left overs for freezer for easy meals after birth :money::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
