I'm awake too... Have been awake at this time of night for the past three nights now. Stupid heartburn. Need to get something different/better to make it go away tomorrow....

Heartburn is pants.. Currently using gaviscon advance chewables it seems to hit worse if go to bed too early, lie on right side and eat too much in evening esp chocolate inc hot chocolate :eek:

Loving the bump picture and moggy!

Yesterday hubby still faffed with tap bought washers none fitted. He got in strop (seems bigger my bump gets more diy is getting done..). Said let me look at washer etc he said no point etc looked at it said there is nothing wrong with the washer put the tap back on.. There job done look no drip MEN!!!!!!

Anyone else trying to do a pre xmas tidy ? We have mil staying and others coming. Going to have another go today.

QUESTION I HAVE BEEN GIVEN AN M&P MPX TRAVEL SYSTEM (mpxBASE PRAM/CarryCOT& PUSHCHAIR NO CAR SEAT) DATES FROM2004/5 BLUE DENIM FABRIC IS THE CARRYCOT MATTRESS AND THE UNDER/SURROUND COVERS machine washable if no one knows will wipe clean Ro xx

I don't want to scare you but I want to realistic so you're not in the same position as me and the poor girl who was in the bed next to me on the ward. You probably won't have it cracked that early. There are some people who just seem to be a natural and it never hurts and everything is just perfect. For me it took 3 visits over 3 weeks to the breastfeeding sessions (they were fab - so I'd really advise you to go to get help). Day 4 I very nearly gave up because of the pain, but I'm so glad now that I didn't. If it does hurt it's very important to get all the help you can with latching on. BUT I believe there is a certain amount of toughening up that needs to happen. And now I know BFing can exist comfortably I know next time I should have the strength to get through the painful part knowing I'll eventually come out the other side.

Also I remember at the clinic there was a lady there who had BF'd her first 2 children with no pain whatsoever but BFing her 3rd child was agony, so I guess some of it might be down to the baby too.

Hopefully for all you guys it will be a breeze, but I think it's good to know the other side of the coin too.

Hope everyone is well, for anyone who is interested Lirin and baby are doing well, I won't say too much as I'll let her announce the details

I'm up early and freezing at the moment, got a few different deliveries due today, so do not want to miss any of them, knowing my luck I'll be up at this time, and nothing will arrive until 5 o clock always the way of it.

Gizmodo You're not scaring me, it's being realistic I guess, luckily OH's mum has breast fed 4 and is a nurse with a lot of friends in all different areas, so I think if I was really struggling, she'd find someone to help if she couldn't advise me of where I was going wrong.

Morning all. Good luck to bumpmakesfour and good to hear that Lirin isn't waiting for mummy cuddles... although that does mean I'm even further up that list and that's a very scary thought!

Can't wait to meet her on the one hand but also trying to persuade myself that not feeling at all ready is perfectly natural :rotfl:

38 weeks today. Hospital bags nearly packed, need to check all the little bits are in. Also need to write birth plan to discuss with midwife on friday. Antenatal classes all done though so DH is as ready as he's ever gonna be. Most amusing watching him change a nappy on a doll - first time he'd ever tried and I had to remind him that the baby will not sit still and make it quite so easy!

Been watching bump this morning as she had a major wriggle on and there were massive movements going on for me to look at. So strange to think it won't be long before all that is gone.

Morning ladies, how is everyone?

Well i'm not too well-my 3 year old has given me his chesty cough and cold. So we have both been suffering over the past three days, not my idea of fun. No sign of baby yet-almost my due date now and hoping he hurries up.

Anyone else fed up of being asked 'is baby here yet?' 'any news?' etc? I am!!
