Regarding feeling hormonal and tearful anything...mostly baby/animal related sets me off. Hubby bless him is getting a hard time with me bursting into tears all the time. Had to fight tears back in boots at the weekend when looking at the baby clothes and coming across the teeny tiny prem baby clothes. Hubby won't let me watch certain progs. Thought we were safe watching "this is England 88" last night, until the opening credits with the starving Ethiopian baby flashed up:(:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Hello
Is anyone else finding that their hormones are making them all teary and emotional over the silliest things? My son has come home from pre-school and has been telling me what he's been doing-and for some reason I got all teary when he told me santa had been into his class, given him a present and he'd been playing pass the parcel!!
I am also now getting annoyed by silly little things too!
Does anyone know what you can and can't eat when breastfeeding? In the hope baby comes by xmas! I am looking forward to pate and cheeses more then anything-not so bothered about booze.

I was in tears by the time I got home yesterday, because something had happened at work that made me really annoyed. Not something I can do anything aboutbut not something I'd usually react to like that!
I think I read that you should keep caffeine and alcohol to a reasonable level when breastfeeding - not too much, but some is fine - as it can pass to the baby in the milk.
There are way too many chocolates and biscuits behind me, I'm trying to resist as I've had two already today...
Had my last antenatal class yesterday, only 4 of us (plus my DH) turned up this week, I think there were 7 in the first week! It was still useful though!0 -
I don't want chocolates. Just fried up some some onions with sliced pork belly... could do with another portion. It is steak for dinner tonight, and I am hoping to sneak in a few chips as well into the oven. Just need to get OH to stop in the shop on the way home to get some ketchup, as our bottle seems to have a hole in it... (almost empty) I might be sorry and get a heartburn afterwards, but as long as I enjoy the meal, I don't care.
When did you start your antenatal classes? I have sent my form back on Monday, asking for the Twins & More class, which should include labour and caring for the newborn, Fit 4 Pregnancy and the breastfeeding one. I know I still have 5+ months if I am lucky, so no rush there, but just would like to know.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Still no sign of delivery from M&P, after them phoning to confirm today. I've sat in all day, so feel grouchy and got a sore head. I need fresh air
Don't really want to phone as I know it could still show up and don't want to make a fool of myself if it appears.
So peed off nowGrrr

We had our antenatal session (all day, covered everything) at the hospital last Saturday, I was 34 weeks. Most of the babies seemed to be due around the same time, with one or two that were a week or so earlier or later than the rest of us.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0
