mmmm domioes!! We're having one on Wednesday, I've wanted it for ages (mainly thanks to you lot!!) and Wed is my 30th birthday so I'm having a pig out! At our local one they do buy 1 get 1 free all the time as long as you collect so that's what I'll be doing!

have won a couple of bundles of baby clothes on ebay today. We have quite a big washing machine and OH will be complaining constantly if I'm having to put it on without it being full so I'm going to stock up on plenty of clothes as cheaply as possible so I don't have to wash quite as often!

Just had the largest slice of apple pie, I'm such a wee fatty. :o Noticed in here btw we talk about food more than we talk about babies I think :rotfl:

You're very welcome. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. Do you find certain things/situations bring them on? Sadly there are no triggers for me. With the last one at 6/8 weeks,I just think the fact that it dawned on me I was having another baby may have gotten to me,even tho I was/am so thrilled to be having a baby. Def talk things over with your gp for reassurance tho x

Thanks everyone, I think I'm just freaked out that 18 weeks has come around so quickly and we still haven't sat down and looked at our finances etc, I'm a procrastinator, so we've set out time tomorrow to look at things properly and I think once I have my 20 week scan we'll start to enjoy life and enjoy the pregnancy, still havn't told many people, but the time feels right now as I feel more settled, will mention it to the GP and I think DH now knows that I'm hormonal, not going mad after we had a long chat this afternoon, I feel heaps better! Thanks again, don't know what I'd do without the forums, it's such a supportive environment!

Carmilla, I've been picking at Nice for birth stories- his wife has had seemingly every variation! My own sisters aren't very forthcoming with info, which is surprising.
I read some of the stories on here, and youtubed live births, and always would have preferred a water birth- something about lying prone in a bed never seemed natural? May be the only choice I have in a few days though!
I did watch a documentary years ago about a remote African tribe where the husband holds the wife's hand throughout the labour lying on a bed beside her, and takes her pain- apparantly was a secret ritual of chants etc.... Now that sounds appealing!

Think I'd have to pass on that. OH is a wuss, he'd end up passing out and I'd still have to do it myself anyway. Rather he be awake, and i can squeeze his hand [STRIKE]so he gets his share of pain that way [/STRIKE] for comfort :rotfl:
  • One word...EPIDURAL!!!:p
