Yes, to music.... though that isn't surprising in our household! I have over 4000 CD's, a similar amount of vinyl, and all our cars have promptly been stripped down for uprated audio- my car is around 100dB, but since I found out I was pregnant, I've kept the levels at not-fun low.....
Hitchhiker likes it (I think, either that or violent complaining) when I play our piano, and Metallica seems to go down well, along with Boston for some bizarre reason....

    Kira- you looked fantastic!

Aw Kira, you look like a princess :) anything that cheers you up has to be a good thing.

Normally I listen to Foo Fighters sorta stuff, but bubs doesn't seem to like that as much.

Oooh also, providing I could get seating tickets, concert/gig on the 21st Jan when I'm due the 6th of Feb, is this sensible or totally stupid? :o

Mine loves kerrang, if I ever feel they've been a bit quiet I just shove it on and wait for the bouncing to start! :D Seems to be particularly fond of Muse, Janes Addiction and the late night heavy metal with Johnny Doom! Good job my mum got us an AC DC and a Rolling Stones baby top :D

My kitchen ceiling has been covered in anti woodworm stuff, so after freezing in front of an open window all night because of the smell, i'm staying out for a few hours! Just had to buy a yet bigger maternity bra, and now i'm having a sandwich by the river.
  • Kira - you look fab! Stunning dress!

I went to a gig at about 28 weeks which was seriously hard work....definitely couldn't cope with one now! I think you'd be brave to try it, if I'm honest Gilly :)
  • Starting to fear for my mental health!Yesterday I spent over 5 hours in my daughters bedroom and cleaned/scrubbed every inch of it.Organised the drawers, cleared out the wardrobe, changed the two beds, cleaned the fireplace..4 bags of recycling and a bin bag of rubbish later it looks fab but I was knackered.
Hubbys orders today were to take it easy..hmmm ok I'll do that AFTER getting three loonies ready, taking them to school, doing the tescos weekly shop, walking the dog, making 4 beds, hanging out the washing, sweeping the floors etc etc blah blahhhh shall I?? :p Came back ,thought hmm a cup of tea.. BUT I found myself emptying my fridge and SCRUBBING it out.I'm now sitting here forcing myself not to start defrosting my freezer and just put two baskets of washing away whilst HUMMING!?! :rotfl: I'm only 25 weeks so can't be nesting surely. Not had this with the other three..very odd!! :rotfl:
Slightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8 :D:D:D xx

Thanks for the input Winnie, I know in my heart of hearts that it's probably not plausible. We had tickets to go see them last year and had to sell due to work commitments. I've been wanting to see them for so long, it's annoying I can't go now. Crap!!

Has anyone used baby slings or carriers? I'm looking at a cool one with a tattoo design, they look funky and I'm thinking would be easier for a bit than lugging a pram everywhere?

Who was the band you'd been going to see Gilly? I went to Rush at 10ish weeks.
