Tesco had some Barretts? bags on offer with two dibdabs, two dolly mixtures, a pack of refreshers chewy sweets, and some Frosties, for a pound. Bargain when a Dibdab alone is about 30p!
Dunno when the offer ends, but I may have to get another couple, there doesn't seem to be much of the sherbet left? Trick or treaters can have the Frosties if any turn up
P.s. though I'm here, I'm not very awake, took till 5am before I could lie down last night! I may just zzzzzz in a mo0 -

Hello-when i saw the consultant earlier in the week my urine sample was sent off to make sure i don't have an infection. Well today i have recieved a letter from the hospital telling me my urine had 'mixed growth' in it and that i need to send in a new clean sample to be tested. What on earth does that mean? I was given a new bottle last time, and i thought i was nice and clean when doing the sample. I feel really grubby now.
I feel rubbish as it is-with this horrible variocose vein down below-the swelling is just making me feel miserable now.

2 weeks and 6 days to go, really had enough now!
Have made my decision and am not going to see my great grandma, OH and I are going to go down in the new year and show her the baby, just dont feel right travelling all that way and would be terribly uncomfortable.0 -

keely.
Don't worry hon, i've had a "mixed growth" result back as well. Its really common, so dont take it as you being grubby! My m/w said sometimes samples just do become contaminated by something, either in the home, or the lab/on way to lab, so they re-test again to rule out actual infections. To rule out all possibilities, she advised me to use a pad of cotton wool soaked in warm water (no soap etc) to clean "down there" immediately before having the wee. Then wash hands, and do the sample.
I cant offer much advice on the vein swelling, other than have you looked at Feme pads? (can get them on ebay) Narrow Gel pads that you chill, and are supposed to be v good relief post birth for sore "down there" areas, i would have thought that might offer some relief from your discomfort now as well? They are usually about £15, but if you can use them before birth as well as after, then it might be worth it! I'm thinking of getting some for my mat bag.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!
