they sound really good Kira! £500 a year on wipes! ouch that sounds like way to much! i bet they worked that out based on £2.60 a packet of wipes or something! people have said if you are using washables you may as well use the wipes as well.

my potatoes don't look big enough for jackets so going for mash instead

Yep, sounds expensive to me! I think they are working on at least one wipe per dirty/wet nappy, plus all the other icky mess scenarios that may need a wipe- sick, snotty noses, food round face etc.

Shame about the teeny potatoes, I like a good crispy skin on my jackets, so mash isnt quite the same for me! That said, i have had a bowl of mash by itself as comfort food a few times whilst PG! With Cheese seems ok, with butter, not so good!

    Congratulations Mancbird :T
Kandboys hope you are ok and babyx

Kira - I have looked at those cheeky wipes, we are doing reusable nappies in the main with some disp's to start with and when going out. So think that it would be good as can just chuck everything in the nappy bucket and wash. Think I might add them to my santa list :rotfl:

Twigpig - hope you are well just to confim that I have had my KFC fix nom nom to recover from my GTT test this morning, my arms a bit bruised but just have to wait a while before will know if ok or not, was going to save you some kfc but then mousey made me eat it :o

Toniq - think you were talking about movement the other day, mine is very variable definately get the shuffling, rolling, my god where have you stuck yourself you dont fit in that bit feeling , I have also found that the movement changes and that I am getting more belly wobbling (now 28+1) so for me any movement which ever way is very reassuring:) hope that lovely dog of yours is being good, dylan has been following my hubby round all week, its like a case of me and my shadow and I am now not so important, its all boys together :rotfl:he is going to be so bored next week when hubby goes back to work :rotfl:

More tidying for me tomorrow, its vac bags at the ready to sort my clothes and then we can tackle the 2nd bedroom (or refuge from baby screaming room, perhaps we should sound proof it :D)
god why do we have so much stuff :eek:

    Take Care All

Yes, hope its getting on with the studying, and not beanie arriving before her OH gets home!!

Mum is doing quite well- alot more positive and perky. Its very thoughtful of you to ask. Now we have heard that the liver scan and lymph nodes that they removed both came back clear, she is feeling better about prognosis- the cancer is just contained to the one breast, so she can see an end- just need to get through the mastectomy and recon, and then that should be the treatment over!

Whats the news on the builder situation?

Lovecrafting, thats why i use auction sniper and not ebay, so i can stick in my bid, and then try and forget it, instead of going back to check all the time! Keeps the prices down too!

Ro, I love the cheeky wipes kit. Even if we dont end up sticking with the nappies, i hope to stick with the wipes! I got mine on ebay- the prices did vary a bit so worth looking. This was the cheapest http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200665883678?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649, and i went through the Nectar site, so i got nectar points on it too.

whats auction sniper? i only just made an ebay account to bid on this item. i think i must have been the last remaining person on earth that didnt have an account. i am finding it hard to not search every item i could possibly need, theres so much ont here, i can see me becoming more addicted quickly.

ETA 39 mins to go and its still 10.59 30 mins is going to take a loooong time

Have a look at this: http://auctionsniper.com/default.aspx
You get 3 free goes as a new user, and you use your ebay name and password to do it. Once you use your 3 free ones, you pay 1% of the winning bid, but the prices stay lower generally so you save money long term.
