i was convinvced they were wrong yeah, but at the scan it emerged that we had actually lost the first baby and i had conceived nine weeks ago with a second one. I had a positive test 14 weeks ago and a heartbeat was detected at the time, 17 march was an interim date before they scanned me and it was expected to be earlier. with the scan it completley isnt possible that a mistake that big had been made so the only reasonable conclusion they could come to was the loss of one and conception of the other. this time they have put me on sick leave from now until the birth and on an asprin each day to thin the blood and are monitoring me weekly with a scan every three weeks and i will be having the hormone they have been testing at 23 weeks. i will also be getting steroids at 30 weeks and induced as soon as they feel they can safley do so. its just a bit gutting to see the previous date there really

How do you take nappies back to swap for different sizes? Do you keep a receipt and what if the prices are different? Sorry for sounding so dumb

no worries cloudyberry. they prefer you to have a receipt and Adsa have refused to swap mine without one. Tesco and boots seem okay about swapping them without receipts. if there is a difference in the price you can pay the extra. not tried to swap for cheaper one but i guess you could add some wet wipes to make them the same amount.

i have swapped for bigger sizes and different makes before with no problems as long as they are unopened and in the same condition as you bought them

Ouch Lirin. Are they able to realign it or do you just have to put up with it? At least you can count down the weeks to your due date.

Hugs Lovecrafting. What an emotional rollercoaster you must have felt! That's a bit bizarre but happy days you conceived again so quickly. I hope things become a bit more straight forward for you now!

Hi all, a flying visit as just got back from hospital. We now have a stunningly beautiful baby girl with no name yet born yesterday at 8.49pm weighing 6lbs 12oz.
I wont be asking for wishes for a quick labour again - Im a tad traumatised by it all to be honest but we're all ok.
