well been doing some exercises to try and get this baby to turn, but as yet its not doing any good as i still have a massive pain under my ribs constantly, soooo uncomfortable..... 5 weeks 5 days to go, not that I'm counting
Am at my dads at the moment, felt like the company with OH away, been here since yesterday and probably staying until Monday. Hiding myself away tonight as they have friends over not that I need to but am quite looking forward to having a night in bed with a dvd and comfort food :T

Usually their boisterousness doesn't bother me, but lately everything gets on my wickI felt really bad after they left because I had been such a grouchy shouty auntie
OH says I need to toughen up.
Family have been asking for a Christmas present wish list for the baby so I've been working on that this afternoon
We went out for fish and chips tonight then to the shops to look at camcorders, but all the shops were just closing as we arrived.0 -
Mine goes lopsided Mimi, weird isn't it! Midwife told me baby's bottom is sticking in my right hand ribs, the head was down in my pelvis on the left and legs were in my ribs on the left!
Am sitting in a restaurant on my tod... Waiting for the girls arrive but it's usually me who's last to arrive so feels strange to be here on my own!!0 -

Right there with you.
I've got X-Factor, some microwaved basmati rice (plain, couldn't be ar*ed to do anything with it. DS had the last of yesterday's chilli with some rice for his tea!) and a nice glass of sugar free Irn Bru
DS is having a quiet play before bed at 8.
Such an exciting life I lead :P0 -
Missymoo - just wanted to say our girl was back to back which did make the contractions bad BUT she turned during labour so wasn't all bad. When I'm back on my proper laptop & a little more recovered I'll let you all know how it went.
Good luck to all - it's worth the SPD, sleepless nights etc

I love that X Factor is back, between that and Jonny Ross on a Saturday night it doesn't make me feel too bad about sitting in. I even have some non alcoholic Becks  really pushing the boat out tonightThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Congrats SC!Get some rest, I'm sure it was a shock to your system. Very pleased for you.
Alison- no, it's like this with pelvis til birth, just basically now bad SPD.... Just nasty.... Back is sore, left leg still dragging- i must look half-drunk, which isn't a great pregnancy look.
WW, other people's children are always pains. I used to babysit when I was younger- affectionately named them the Arsenic Brats (what they were, and what we all wanted to give them...). Son and daughter were the absolute perfect little angels in their parents eyes, until son got up one morning, and started watching Barney Does DIY-I arrived in the lounge just in time to see him enthusiastically hitting the delicate coffee table with his daddy's hammer- couldn't salvage it. As his mum and I made breakfast, he poured orange juice into the VCR. Sadly as an adult, he's not much improved.
DH put immersion on for me, will relax in a bath shortly..... hopefully!0 -
Love crafting I'm the same, OH has his ear phones in playing some sort of shooting game, is it call of duty? something alone those lines. I hate that Frankie, I'd never get tired of punching his face. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
