One of my old school friends on facebook had his second child this morning - and has nicked my girls name  Ok, so he didn't know it was my girls name but I'm so annoyed :rotfl: How dare anyone use any name I'm considering!!! REALLY! :o

I used to work with a bloke called Sandy Lake - that always made me smile! And a chap I used to work with had a grown up son called Stacey.

TBH, I think Harley-Quinn is quite cool as well! But then we considered naming Hitch after a rock group we both love.

You must be.... You could not be sane if you were even slightly considering naming your child such a stupid name... Unless of course you are insane... In which case, I apologise :p

    That's actually quite insulting.

Ok, so the name doesn't do it for me either but each to their own.

Ooooh that would annoy me S_C!! We're currently still struggling to pick a girl's name as all the names I like, either OH isn't keen or a friend has used it recently. Or, in the case of the name Phoebe, my SIL declared that it was the name they were going to use if their baby had been a girl (although they had a boy) so now I feel like I can't use it, as it's like I'd be copying, or stealing it from them, even though it's my favouritest girl's name ever! I secretly think they knew it was my favourite name so thought they'd announce they were going to call the baby Phoebe if it was a girl just to spite me, as it's the kind of thing she'd do... (we don't get on...) but I may just be being paranoid :rotfl: As that is the case, I am kind of tempted to use it if we have a girl...

My DH & I are quite dorky. My first son was called Logan after Wolverine.
Harley-Quinn is after the Batman character. (Real name Harleen Quinzel, but I didn't fancy that lol)

Harley-Quinn *is* the kickass villain from Batman, I'd totally go with that name :D

Although my cat is called Harley, so it could confuse things around the house...

It's not as though we 'know' each other anymore so I could still use it, but even so! :rotfl:

If you like it that much don't let anything stop you - I would call her Phoebe-Phoebe just to annoy your SIL, lol, then drop it into the conversation that you had it picked out years ago!

Ah, names are a minefield! I know I'm going to have a boy because we can't decide on a single name for a boy though I have about 20 I wouldn't mind for a girl!

I quite liked the name Lachlan for a boy ....but my FIL's dog is called Lochan. Sorry, but just far to weird to contemplate now :rotfl:
