Finding the sofa harder to sleep on now.... Bed's been out for a few weeks (DH likes to remind me what a trooper he's being, sleeping on an airbed and a double duvet in the living room with me. Must take him proper camping at some stage- when he's sitting miserably under a bivouac at 0400 in pouring rain eating refried beans, the airbed will seem luxurious in comparison).

It's a tossup- the bed which I can't sleep in- beside the bathroom. The sofa which I can still sleep on- and 3-4 nightly trips up stairs (my arch enemies!)....... Starting to get painful no matter where I sit, lie, stand, slump.....

I've just reached the fedup stage. Also the weepy stage- a friend of mine is going through a very rough time, and I can't do anything more to help, but feel useless..... Had a cry last night, which DH described as refreshing- I never cry as it achieves nothing..... He says it's good when I let go, as he worries I clam up.

Winnie- wow, fingers crossed, really hope this is it for you soon! It isn't long at all!

Morning ladies and bumps.

Rather cold here today, just went out to bring the bin in in my pj's and am now freezing, trying to ration the milk we have left to get a few cuppas at least, I refuse to go to the shop! OH was supposed to go this morning and his excuse "my alarm didn't go off" Never mind bagel and cream cheese for breakfast nom

Made a rather good decision if I say so myself, always wanted to watch The Wire, everyone always raves about it, so ordered Series 1 & 2 and will get watching, figure once Bubs is here, I won't get the chance in the next few years to dedicate my time to such an activity

Morning all! Was hoping to log on with news of Winnie's baby arriving but guess not! He's being a monkey Winnie! Got my consultant appointment later at 3.15 so hopefully things will be resolved.

Thanks Gilly! I feel like the fight has gone out of me a bit as I was all geared up for last week but I'll just be glad to get a date now. Even if my friend due 2 weeks after me has hers before me :rotfl:! She's having her c-section 9 days early lucky beggar!

Just thinking, how long are babies in size one nappies for, I've got about 6 huggies packs and 4 packs of twos but didnt know whether to get some more ones whilst asda have some on offer, I just assumed baby would only be in them a matter of weeks as they are really small or am i wrong??

My size 1's go up to 11lbs missymoo, I've got 4 packs, then 4 boxes of the size 2 mini's. I think it depends on how big your baby is, how long etc. I'm not buying anymore, if I need them I can go get them, plus it'l be an excuse to get out

Remember if they're unopened most places will swap for a bigger size.

Thanks Lirin and Missy. My first boy was in size 1s for ages Missy but 2nd one not very long at all due to size. Think size 1s only go upto about 12lbs is that right? I might be talking rubbish though!
