Glad ur son is ok Lucy
For anyone that still has the huggies vouchers from inside the Asda box, it makes 35 size 2 nappies just 99p! By using the £2 coupon in Sainsburys that is lol! I also signed DH up for his own Nectar card a few weeks back so i could get the mum and baby gift set, well thats a 1/3 rd off, so if anyone else is getting one, put it thru with the rest of ur shopping as it`ll take the £3 odd off ur shopping too!
I see the ASDA box is only going to be £3 anyway, wonder if they have the coupons in????
Anyone else think its a bit of a con how 80 newborn asda nappies will be £6, when b4 xmas it was only £1 for 44 nappies anyway!!!!!!
Thanks for the list Gilly, I got my leaflet thru yesterday, but didnt even think to put it on here!
Oooh i wonder how Kira is!!!! xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

DH has just come home for lunch and badgered me about eating more pineapple. Apparently I can't have a nap until I do. Good thing we both know who is in charge in this relationship! (Although it can be quite amusing when he pretends it's him!)
Lucy, good news on the appointments.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

We're gonna head out for something to eat, so will pop by Tesco on the way. I've managed to squeeze my feet into a pair of ballet pumps :j Can't wear converse or Uggs 100% of the time can I?
No that's fine Emmylou, they had it in my local too, it's just Tesco offers on Wednesdays so wasn't sure if it'd changed yesterdayThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Hi Ladies,
Just popping in even though I'm no longer pregnant (but really should be!) My little Poppy is 7 weeks old today and finally came out of her incubator!!!! I am now able to dress her and had a great time putting on her trousers and vest and cardigan (all prem baby clothes!) She looked adorable and finally like a real baby!
I've had a quick read back and just wanted to recommend the Gro-egg that Asda are selling in their baby event. Me and Hubby were bought one as a gift and we have tried it out even though Poppy still isn't home and its fab. I thought it was expecially important as she will be quite small still when she comes home. It gives off a really soothing light and changes colour when the temp of the room gets to hot or cold - really worth paying £15.00 for!
Also I can highly recommend the medela swing pump (I know some ladies already have one!) I have been expressing for 7 weeks now and for the first few weeks I borrowed a pump from the hospital but my nipples started to get very sore. I bought the swing from Boots (for full price!) and it's worth every penny! No more pain and it gets much more milk out than the hospital one. I will warn you that it says its silent on the box - it isn't silent at all and makes 2 very strange noises! I use it at the hospital and get some odd looks from the other Mum's and Nurses! Hoping that I won't have to use it much now as Poppy has started to give breastfeeding a really good go. She gets tired easily but each time I do it she goes a little longer.
I'm going to be stalking some ladies on here over the next few days to see how you get on with your births.
Good luck and take it easy whilst you can!

Had midwife appointment earlier, baby is in a good position apparently, she's put 2/5 under the 'engaged' bit on my notes but don't know if that's 2/5 engaged or 2/5 palpable... Unfortunately my blood pressure has gone back up! First reading was 153/102! She did three readings all together, it came down a bit each time, third was 138/90 so have got a midwife coming out to the house on Saturday to see what it's like then. In the meantime am back on strict 'feet up' instructions... She says they'll want to see me every couple of days now probably to keep an eye on it but I don't know how that's going to work if I have to go to the surgery. It's a good 1.5 mile walk, which I doubt will be good for my bp. OH would probably say I can have the car but it's a whole lot more inconvenient for him to get two buses to work than it is for me to walk a mile and a half to the surgery. Unless I get a home visit each time. Oh well, will just play it by ear I guess.
Hope Kira is getting on ok, maybe even having mummy cuddles by now, and everyone else is doing ok! I'm going to go do some knitting then have a nap I think!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0
