    Quick Question girls,

One of my good friends is getting married 2 weeks after my due date but she is having her hen do 1 week before I am due.

She is planning a hotel spa thing - treatments x 2, lunch, dinner, accommodation and b'fast. It's about an hours drive away from where I live.

I am waiting for the spa reservations dept to call me back as I am sure that the Fire & Ice experience that is one of the two treatments (as standard) is not suitable for whale like preggers girls.

They have a mum-to-be package which I could book instead which is a day only thing (same price as the whole kit and cabootle above) with a Mum to be treatment, manicure or pedicure, lunch and use of the leisure facilities

Is is a good idea or would I be mad to even entertain the idea?

Awww so happy you are both doing so well. Poppy sounds like an amazing little lady:):):)

Thanks Lucy, she is such a special little girl and so pretty to, very delicate with lots of hair and very long eyelashes! (Not that I'm biased at all!)

Not long for you now and some of the other regulars!!

Definitely not! Are you having a smoothie out of yours next day?

:rotfl: but the important thing to remember is how much it would have cost if it was all full price - thats how I justify my spending anyway :p

I have never shopped on Next online, so would have never even looked!!!! Never mind, got the nightie, pyjama, trousers, jeans, and a top... Might have to return some though, as not sure of sizes!

Okay before I go, are Tesco still selling Comfort Pure for £1.65? Don't want to talk up and it not be, because last time my hips ached :o

They did yesterday. You can check on mysupermarket.com - I find them pretty good for checking the prices...

Right, back from the physio class. So, pelvic floor exercises, some more stability/core ones, some stretches for my upper back pain, booked in into Pilates class (one off) and gym ball as well (one off too), and she recommended the aquanatal, but as that is during the day, it is a bit tricky. Might see if we can just go swimming with OH weekend morning, when it is hopefully quieter, but first need 'to do the job and a half' down below.

Right, have to get to the shop for some tomato pur!e to add to my bolognese sauce in the slow cooker, as it is looking rather pale. Making lasagne with it!

You can not use anything like saunas, steam rooms or jacuzzi while pregnant, not sure about the ice thing. If you feel happy enough to go then definately go for the Mum to be package

Even though I will be due in a weeks time by that point?

I knew that I wouldn't be able to use all the fun stuff, about all that is left is the 19 metre pool that has bubble jets and I'm not sure if I can use that either :o

Perhaps I am worrying unnecessarily but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. I have just thought that I drive for 45 minutes each way to/from work so an hour isn't much longer so the mum-to-be thing might be good ... trying to convince myself now!
