Gilly, I think the way to anyone's heart over here is a big roast dinner with lots of potatoes. I'm texting DH with lots of charm to see if he'll make me one tonight......

I'm starving now. Have been since talk at work this morning turned into finding a supplier of buffalo steak (don't know why!) so my boss and I could try it....

The amount of potatoes he eats shocks me. Before we met the norm for me was roast or mash, now it's both, sometimes with some sweet potato thrown in too  AND sometimes potato croquettes.

We've loads extra, I'll send it round!

Mmm buffalo steak, never tried it, I'd like to though. I miss steaks cooked medium, first stop for me after getting the baby out is a lovely big fillet!

I think it was Lisa on the <12 weeks thread who posted this the other day Gilly, did you not see it?

'It is fine to eat whole cuts of beef and lamb such as steaks, cutlets and joints (but not rolled joints) rare, as long as the outside has been properly cooked.'

    http://www.nhs.uk/Planners/pregnancycareplanner/pages/Carewithfood.aspx

So you can have a medium steak now if you want!

    I will eat anything!

Steak- I really, really miss steak. A nice, rare, bloody steak. :( It doesn't taste the same when it's cooked to bits...

Aw, DH isn't biting. No roast dinner (damn not being able to charm people!).

If you don't want to know (and DH isn't going to the scan with you) then tell him that baby's legs were crossed and the sonograper couldn't tell you! :rotfl:

I used that excuse last time :D though the sonographer wasnt sure because baby was in an ackward position. I have found out and its taken some of the magic off it for me which im disapointed about, but DH is having a rubbish time at work and wont be back till end of november/start of december so thought id give him a nice surprise. its still staying secret though!

I cannot get that One Direction song out of my head, and it's making me feel a tad perverted. :(

That's a bad offer to make Gilly, you'll have a house full of starving strangers in a flash!
