I bet you're having an 8lber. But don't forget extra fluid, placenta, blood etc weighs a lot so that's where the 3 stone comes in. I'm sure you're not having a 3 stone baby lol!
I've put on about the same so far, sooooooo depressing! I know that most of mine has been food, food and more food though so I can only blame myself. My son was 9lb so I'm expecting this one to be pretty big too, we shall see!
My gym membership starts again in Jan, so I'm hoping by then a few pounds may have melted away (with bfing and if I can eat sensibly) so I won't feel such a heifer when I get back to it. At least in winter I can cover up with plenty of clothes anyway.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -
Me and OH have fell out, he slept on the sofa last night... I don't even know where it came from, out of nowhere and I just kept shouting. I'm too proud now to apologise.
BLEURGH I don't wanna fight
You don't need to. Wait a few weeks. You'll be sleeping on the sofa yourself then!
I never go to sleep on an argument- I won't let the sun go down on one. Life's too short. Even if I'm right, I'll still make amends or talk about it- luckily DH is the same, and it usually results in a second argument- 'No, I was wrong!' :rotfl:
I do get teary quite a bit now, and easily irritated- very easily irritated. It's hard to watch and see which bits are due to pregnancy, and which bits are genuinely an annoyance!
Hitchhiker keeps rolling or turning down at the base of my bump- it's an extremely weird feeling, feels a little like my skin is being pulled and feels like my insides are rolling in on themselves? It's weird, but not unpleasant!0 -
Gilly don't forget those pregnancy hormones are a b1tch!! Some days they make us feel tearful, other days we scream like banshees! Try not to worry too much - saying sorry while crying always works for me lol!!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

Crikey - how did it get to be Monday afternoon already?!
I've had a good few days... Went to see the midwife for the first time since returning to the UK on Friday. She's very nice and very glamourous, late 50s I would say, but I've heard rumours that she has a penchant for 30 year olds locally... OH came out saying she was indeed a !!!!!!. Anyway, she seemed to be relatively approving of my plans for a home-water-hypno birth and had a prod of my tummy and told me where the feet, bum and head was which is really cool. The more I get to know about my baby the more I fall in loveShe also weighed me - I've put on 11 kgs so far which is about 24 lbs - eek - still 1/3 of the way to go, so I reckon I'm aiming for 3 stone in total... Most of that is chocolate I reckon.
Weekend was nice - spent it catching up with friends and general pottering around. I went swimming on Saturday morning and to Body Pump on Sunday and then a long walk around town, so will be having a day off from exercise today.
We are also getting very excited about going to flat/cat-sit for our friend at the weekend! We'll be at hers until our new place is ready on 15th Oct, so finally some space to ourselves! Canny wait!
I'm getting jabbed on a regular basis today by bubba, I love it. If I hunch forward too much (almost with my b00bs resting on my bump) I get jabs really high up as if the little one is saying "mum get off, I'm cramped as it is, sit up straight and give me some more room"0 -
I've came up with a plan, got a roast dinner on, chicken in and 2 pots with different potatoes, the way to an Irish mans heart is always potatoes, made some home made yorkshire puddings too, which are always a winner, feeling a bit better now I've had a shower and sorted myself out
Only 2 days til my anomaly scan, I think I'm maybe just worrying about that and it's making me grouchy. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Me too. I started off beign determined to be healthy - now my diet consists of stodge, fat and bananas as this is what makes me feel the best. I'veloathed the thought of salad all the way through but I have an enormous 3.5 stone and counting to lose after the binge is over. Just in time for Christmas too!0 -
Could someone add me to list here pls, I'm not due for agesssssssss Feb 6th, I'm Gilly's due date buddy xxx Thank you x

Yay Toniq, good to see you over here
My dilemma of the day is what to have with my cuppa, a triple choc mars bar or one of those new Flake Allures. It's difficult...The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Hi Toniq I'll add you no problem. Was it you who had some bleeding a little while back? Has all settled down now? xxThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0
