Can't believe I'm 6th from the top of the list already, how did it go so fast!!

Now the nursery is complete, clothes and bedding washed and I bought my baby monitor and swaddle blankets this weekend, and filled the freezer with 2 weeks of homemade ready meals, I think I'm ready as I'll ever be.

I've had a few twinges, and by that I mean lower abdominal pain like period pain and lower back ache over the last week, but it doesn't last long. Midwife said it was my body getting ready and to give them a call back if they continue. But then they stop all together.

As I'm due a week tomorrow, I'm going to start on the old wives tales tomorrow to get things moving :rotfl:

    Hi ladies,

I may have mentioned before that my sis gets married a week after my due date and I need to at least start looking for a dress.

I want something that can be worn if I'm hugely pregnant or if I'm nursing and have come across these two in the right colour, I'm a bridesmaid 'as such' as I'm likely to be big and uncomfortable or big and a new mother so some of the pressure is off in terms of bridesmaidly duties but I want to be there for her as much as I can! Am I mad doing this now as I'm nowhere near the size I will be by the end of April? Would love some advice!

Good luck with that, I think I've tried them all but still not going to produce before 41 weeks! Still, if it's that one, it should put a smile on your OH's face!

Amymo I wouldn't decide on anything just yet, as you really don't know how big you'l get or how little. Plus with summer just around the corner, the shops may end up with some new things in. I don't know your budget but have you had a look at Seraphine online?

I would imagine all supermarket branded would be pretty similar, so they may be similar to Tesco, Do they come in a box and have a long strip of sticky on the back?

They are softly shaped and absorbent for secure fit and comfort designed for use during the late pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding they are 40 in a box they have a soft stay dry liner extra absorbent pad and moisture proof backing material and there is no sticky tape or anything sticky !

I love sleeping! :D Have just had a lovely nap, and have woken to sounds of OH making dinner! (chicken Kiev, mash and beans for anyone interested!) I feel sooo much better now compared to two hours ago. Let's just hope it doesn't cause me any problems getting to sleep later...
