Kudos to your OH Mozzy, on the smoking front, it's a hard habit to kick, so good for him!

Nope not long now, I've said all along I think he'l be early, but now I'm starting to think he's really comfy in there, GAH :(

Think I may put on OBEM from the other night, OH is in the bedroom studying, but not sure if I can cope with it on my own, I'm quite calm about birth at the moment, not sure if it'd send me a bit worried and crazy.

Talking of smoking, when I was up at the hospital earlier when I left there was a heavily pregnant woman stood outside in a dressing gown, smoking a roll-up! I know it's hard to quit, I have done it a few times myself but if I still smoked when I found out I was pregnant I would have quit straight away! And even if I found it impossible to quit, I really don't think I could bring myself to stand outside the maternity unit puffing away! Each to their own though, I guess!

Oh don't, remember the guy from last season who was eating fish and chips in the hospital?!?

I know Annabella, it's horrible. My OH gets really wound up when we see pregnant women smoking or people smoking around there children. To get into the doors of my local maternity though you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in the door, despite all the signs up saying "no smoking area" the weird thing is, I know of people who have given up the minute they find out they are pregnant, but go back to it when baby is born? How crazy.

Just seen there's a new Programme on Channel 4 this Wednesday at 10pm. Its called "how to be a good mother", and features mums who never use nappies and who cook their placentas.

Now there's an idea for your batch cooking Gilly :rotfl:

Anyway, i must be terrible then cos I'm using nappies and I don't even want to see my placenta, let alone eat it

Eurgh, the thought of it. X

HI! He seems to be ok actually. He's had others before and said they where rubbish, but now he's on the ones from Tesco called 10 Motives Electronic Cigarette, and he says they're actually doing the job for him. Each one is equivalent to 30 cigarettes, and cost about £6.50 or so.

I've been patient with him giving up, as we both smoked, but I gave up the minute I found out I was pregnant, and we always had a pact that as soon as I fell pregnant we would both give up. But i've said, with my history of Asthma in the family and with us owning 3 cats, we have to give him every chance he has of being healthy and no breathing problems. So hopefully this'll be it, forever!!!:)
