Gilly, i notice u said roasties and mash in the same sentence, i`d NEVER heard of people having both until i moved further up north! Altho saying that, i cant get a pea fritter for love nor money up here and down south they r in every chippy!!
Oh Lovecrafting, i really hope for ur sake he hasnt got a dog Our cat got out today and she is on heat so praying to god she wasnt caught by a tom in the 1/2 hour she was out, cant be doing with kittens due around the time the baby is..... She hasnt even left the house at all since the beginning of dec, shes been in season for 4 days and only picked today to shoot out, argh!!!
Have done soooo much cleaning the last 2 days, my feet r huge and fat and my back hurts like hell! xx

we already have one dog and usually have alot more animals than we do at the moment i just really cant be doing with another one at the moment. we will see if he is daft enough to bring another home, i know he means well because he cant see it get put down, but right now our house is not where it should be. altho if it comes here i will treat it just like the others.x

Oh Christ I'm in Ireland, they love there spuds here! :eek: At Christmas my MIL made roasties, mash and sweet potatoes. Plus you do need both, mash for mixing with everything and the gravy and the roasts for something crunchy Mmmm.

My MIL always does roast potatoes and mash when we go round for Sunday lunch, plus she always cooks enough for ten people when there's only four of us! I will never understand why she feels the need to ALWAYS make 12 yorkshire puddings for four people. At most, six or seven will get eaten, and that includes one for the dog.. I know they're not exactly the most expensive thing to make, but still, seems like a waste! My mum only ever does roast potatoes if we go to my parents for lunch, plus I only do one or the other on the rare occasion I make a roast dinner at home...
