I got some today at £30 in a Homeplus so may depend on the type of store.
Barbie cars were still scanning high too0 -
My local T's tried telling me DTD doesn't apply to toys, a quick phonecall to head office, and back in i went and argued my case, i don't think the CSA liked me.... she rang 3 managers to see if she was 'allowed to do it'0

Did a big shop today, found the breadmaker for £8.xx and 2 Barbie sets. However when I went through the till the very helpful cashier noticed the half price sticker and put them through at that price. No DTD for me. Not sure I want them now as DD isn't old enough for them for a year or so so may take them back.

Presumably because they were all in her trolley!! I thought about picking up more than one but wasn't sure if the DTD would be given on more than one item....0 -

Most times I get two of each dtd items unless they are really high value ones... you know twins etc.

With stickered items it's always best to check out the checkouts first! I usually pick on the one who looks like his/her mind is elsewhere!
I chanced a self-serve today with my Megabloks because they were stickered and still got DTD without a battle. Some say it has caused them problems, but at the end of the day, unless you get a till prompt to confirm the price, you are simply scanning the items and listening for the beep - it is their responsibility to charge the correct price.0 -

That's exactly what I did with the Barbie car - sticker side down and bar code towards the cashier

I've been using this site for quite a while, but this is my first ever post as today was the first time I tried the DTD when I spotted the Barbie School at my local Tesco. Stickered at £12.50 I nervously checked the price at the self service tills, which came up at £25. (There seemed to be a lot of staff round the self service area. It's a shame there isn't another way of checking the price before buying.) Thought I was going to get rumbled when a helpful assistant tried to show me how to bag the item and looked at me as if I was mad when I said I'd remembered I'd got more shopping to do, I had a half-full trolley at this point. Anyway went back to get another and continued with my shopping. No problem at the till but I had a full trolley including other toys. I haven't gone to the CS yet for my refund as there was quite a queue but will try tomorrow. I do feel a bit guilty but I spend a fortune in there. (That shop alone was £220)
Thank you so much to the OP.0
