My Wife has just been to Tesco [EMAIL="Cl@y"]Cl@y[/EMAIL] X, looking for some of the Car DVD players, unfortunately they all scanned at full price. BUT she noticed some Barbie cars with the Sticker on again, she bought 2 from the self scan tills. WHEN SHE SCANNED THEM it asked her "Is this the correct price" and when she clicked no then the supervisor came over and changed the price to the reduced 1, not sure if this is nationwide or store specific OR if it is self scan only and not on the tills but BEWARE this may be Mr T's way of reducing the DTD's we get.

I just came back from Newport Tesco, bought a polly pocket party boat set, SEL £25, sticker half price, DTD absolutely no questions asked. Actually I don't think she said anything at all to me, except put your card in and remove your card! Result- lovely pressie for free!

No barbie sets either school or car, no megabloks that I could find, couple more polly pockets though

I would have clicked yes, then gone out the store made a phone call gone back in and informed them that i had just rung my sister as I'm shopping for her, and she said that it should be £12.50 silly me I wondered why she wanted me to get them for her.

Pr*scot, Merseyside had the cars but no sticker. No school sets but had the polly pocket boats in the season isle with sticker and scanning full price. Didnt get any cuz ive already got one for an xmas present for friends little girl. No sewing machines either which I really wanted. In the main isle they had a yellow tub thing with disney cars/toy story and disney princess/fairies wrapping paper for 10p. There are also packs of happy birthday napkins for 12p in the seasonal isle along with some cheap birthday banners 10p and gift bags. Hth xoxo

These were on sale in Cheri**n today. Label said half price - £18 knocked down to £9. Still scanning at £18 so bought one then went to CS and managed to get £18 DTD back with no probs so a good freebie! My first DTD:T

myself i would never go through self scan when intending to get DTD as it is too easy for them to say "well you went through self scan you should have noticed"
