Barbie School Tesco with Half price sticker going through full price £25.00

Just got a Barbie Convertible set from 1ngleby B@rw1ck - guy on customer services a little miffed as it was the second time today he'd had to give DtD on this item - well done to the other friend of Martin's!!

had a look in the Top Valley T's today out of curiosity and both school and car are full price, no stickers there. hth someone who was otherwise going to have a nosey there.

Did manage to use 4 shreddies and 2 cambells voucher, so not all lost.

I did find the barbie car aswell in the reduced aisle, but no sticker on it, so left it on the shelf

Went into our xtra store and there was 2 barbie car sets 1 with sticker 1 without ,i took the stickered one it went through till at £25 so took the reciept to cus serv who told me .... all they could do was refund the toy as theyd had an issue and that someone ??? had been going round the store and sticking half price labels on products and then getting people to purchase them and then ask for dtd ? i then was told they would have to get a manager ,i waited whilst the manager tookthe product off she came back and said shed tried to peel the label off and that it wouldnt come off ? and shed also spoke to toy sec manager who confirmed that someof the stock had come in stickered so therefore on this occation they would refund me the 12.50 overcharge x2 so the full £25.00 id paid was very reluctantly refunded !! So i got a lovely xmas pres for my daughter it is the first time ive hd a dtd and has made me even more aware to check my reciepts in future and also to stand my ground .

Local store just had refit and got my hands on Barbie Car and school set. Gr8 xmas pressies for my little girl.

Really chuffed my first ever product for free, I got the school set in Cov Ricoh yesterday, just picked up 1 hadn't the bottle to do more, but there were mmore on shelves, paid with my Hello Kitty jumpers and leggings, then went to CS got a DTD refund of £25 but SA was on the phone to the DM as she was doing my refund to tell him to get them removed, so probably none left now.

MooMoo, think I must have been stood behind you at customer services in St Stephens! I saw someone get refunded for 2, then the lady in front had taken a polly pocket with sticker to the cs, but unfortunately she'd taken it before buying- think she had got the wrong end of the glitch

I bought 2, and they shouted over the tannoy for someone from toys to go sort the stickers. Too late, I have 2 xmas pressies for free!

Thank you for your reply, I can get to Craigavon or Lurgan Tesco easily.

What should I say when taking it to customer services for a refund? I would like to know exactly what their policy is so that I know what to say if they deny that they double the difference. I have tried to google it but cant find anything. I would usually back down if they say no, but would like to be able to argue my case Ooh im all excited now, I even dreamt about it last nite, how sad! Suppose I will get there and wont be able to find anything stickered lol! Many Thanks.
