No barbie ones in Pr*scot, Merseyside but there are some Polly Pocket party boat ones (seasonal isle) with half price sticker (£12) going through full price. Got my first ever dtd!!! Didnt think id get it - the sa looked at me like dirt. Felt like crap afterwards!! Happy now though!!! Just to let local MSE'rs there isnt much left in the seasonal isle - though they did have cheap gift bags (29p), wrapping paper and baby cot toys for £1.0

What should I say when taking it to customer services for a refund? I would like to know exactly what their policy is so that I know what to say if they deny that they double the difference. I have tried to google it but cant find anything. I would usually back down if they say no, but would like to be able to argue my caseOoh im all excited now, I even dreamt about it last nite, how sad! Suppose I will get there and wont be able to find anything stickered lol! Many Thanks.
Copied from my post at #59...
"Phone customer services whenever you don't get what you were expecting. I went into an extra and found both the school set and convertible, both with the half price stickers on. Both had SEL of 25.00. Went through at 25 each so paid up and went to CS. Girl (not a trout) went to check the shelf and came back saying it is advertised on the shelf as 25 but as the product had a sticker on I had been overcharged. She wrote on receipt "O/C" and called her manager. She then gave me only 25 back. I said it is supposed to be double and pointed to the board. She said no that's only if the SEL is wrong. I said no, pointed to the bit that says "or on the product" wand said it should be DTD. She said it was managers discretion and manager had said JTD. I stood firm and said, no it is your policy to refund DTD and called headofficefrom thedesk using my mobile(use 01208340800up0800505555# to dial using your inclusive minutes for free).
First guy I spoke to said no its JTD, but somehow we mysteriously got cut off, so called again and spoke to someone who actually knew what they were talking about who said yes it should be DTD regardless that the SEL was the price I was charged. Head office wanted to speak to the manager so he was called to the desk and they put him straight.
End result was all my money back, the 2 toys for nothing and an APOLOGY from the manager."I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

anyone would think the refund was coming out of their own pocket, just smile sweetly & say thank you v muchdont feel bad about it , you will come across quite a few cs staff that are like this, there are also a few nice ones that say sorry for overcharging you, i got an apology yesterday from a store manager

I occasionally go to Pr*scot and always get one woman there who knows exactly what i'm doing, mutters under her breath and tries to get out of it at every turn. it seems to really irritate her that we are getting glitches! she always tries to give me JTD (without saying anything, just say "check the amount and enter your pin" when it going back to card) so watch her. I pull her up on it almost every time.0 -

Did they remove the polly pocket sel do you know? The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -
Im going to go to Tesco Extra today with the kids after school.
Wish me luck !0 -
I went to G*llows Crn this morning, and got the Hello kitty set s for my girl.
Managed to find the Polly pocket boat, with sticker at £12.00, but of course went through at £24.00.
Went to customer services, and this trout only refunded me £12........
Saying that the sel said the correct amount, and that these came in like this, and so it doesnt apply etc.
There were NO signs up at the desk and so couldnt pull her up on it.
Im not new to DTD and said 3 times to her that it should be DTD back, but she came out with every excuse under the sun and woudnt budge.
She tannoyed over to a member in the toy section and told them to remove the other stickers
What can I do now?? If I phone customer services will they send me the other £12 on a card, or do I have to go back and argue in store.
I dont usually use this store, my normal one is fine with DTD, but this trout really wouldnt give in0 -
Either phone or email because it does apply to stickered items too the sign in the Home store at mine tells you that and the one at my local doesnt but it still applies so get onto it and don't take no for an answer bloody trouts:mad:Sarcasm
the witty will have fun
and the stupid won't get it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
