  • Yep, it's the classic but with metallic paint. They are going to give me £500 for my car, not great and we initially said thanks but no thanks and walked out first of all but the pre-reg meant I was saving a few hundred anyway so went back in!

They do a monthly servicing plan of £17 a month (price fixed for the whole 5 years) which seems a pretty good deal too.

    I don't think so - I wouldn't expect it to cost £204 to service an i10.

The servicing schedule is minor-major-minor-major. Apparently £136>£288>£159>£288>£157 so £1028 over 5 years.

60 months @ £17 is £1020 so a very slight discount plus the price is fixed so I'm guaranteed to pay 2011 prices for servicing for the next 5 years.

    £288 for a major service on an i10? :|

I'd call around some other dealers and ask about it as if you had one that's due.

Thanks, that's a good idea. Just wish I could carry on going to my little garage I've been going to for years - they are so honest and whilst not dirt cheap their prices are fair. I know about the EC ruling on warranties/servicing but probably more hassle than it's worth! :o

that's very similar to my deal. funny, i was searching on here only a few weeks ago to try and get a feel for the pricing:).

didn't know about or get offered the servicing deal though. what are the rules re. warranties? how easy is it going to be for my local garage to use all genuine hyundai parts etc?
