never mind I got lots of lovely items already anyway
No luck for me either on this one...have tried 3 different stores and none of them let me have the gift bag. But, like you, I am not complaining, I have so much lovely No 7 stuff (that I normaly wouldnt buy as always thought it was a bit pricey) and enough hair care products to last me all year :rotfl:2008 gig list... Brand new Bootser here - wow thanks you guys!
Just went in for a browse to my local (small) Boots and got some Botanics skin brightening toner (£1.49 - they didn't have any 99p body bars) and some *free* SPF12 golden glow facial moisturiser (£4.99) + 100 points from the voucher! Had a very nice lady on the till, who scanned the mag first then tore the voucher out for me, and when the posh moisturiser wouldn't come up as being a free item (even though the blurb said 'free moisturiser', and didn't specify what kind), she cancelled the whole sale and put it all through manually!
A small win, but it's encouraged me:TProud to be dealing with my debts :T0 -

Yes I had problems with both Boots in Crewe today so avoid the place. Its Linda in the beauty shop to avoid.
Across the road is as bad. I thought I would try one magazine, three waffles and three body creams and one 99p cold cure to get my total over £5 and I also gave her two vouchers, 100 Botanics 100 point and one cold cure 100 points.
Firstly she said I could not have a magazine because I had already had one on my previous visit. Then after she scanned everything she said I "could not have two bites at the cherry" and said she would have scan things seperatley so then she spent ages trying to void everything back onto my card.
The she tried to take my points off me but there is no button on the till now for taking points off!
Eventually after much tutting and three seperate transactions I escaped lugging my booty, 10 minites late for the car park, fortuantley no ticket.
But despite the misery I have used up an old gift card which I found this morning with £7 on it, got 4 lots of Botanics which will do for my daughters birthday and a No 7 lipstick bag plus back up to £39 on the main Boots card and I got another £7/£3 voucher and several more mags so well worth coming out in the freezing cold

Could someone clarify what the Botanics offer is at the moment; is it still get a free body glow gradual tan moisturiser, or is it get any moisturiser free?
Thanks!0 -

Personally ive found many particularly in Boots for some reason and I do have to say their is a side to me that quite likes it if they start. Ive been a teacher for over 20 years so ive heard most things and dealt with more "problems" than I care to remember. I do love the look on their faces when ive finished with my set speeches about their attitude.
I always make a point of seeking out the same SA when I go back in the next time!!!!!!!!!!!! and do as many protracted transactions as slowly as possible!!!!!!
On the other hand im quick to praise those who deserve it.:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

They are near the front doors near the makeup counters. I think they must have just put them out because I didn't notice them the other day.0 -
annapantscats wrote:Just been to Boots in Whitgift Centre Croydon. The cow....Ooops, I mean SA...at the No 7 counter refused to let me have the gift bag with lipsticks on as part of any deal/offer. And the SA on the till gave me a filthy look when she saw the total I had to pay....I got No 7 Glossy locks (£5.50) and Lip/Eye shimmering Screen (£5.50) plus the limited edition lipstick (called 'whisper', priced at £6) for £1 using the the No7 voucher.
Why do the SA's care? Its not as if the savings are coming out of their wages!!!
Anyway, thanks you lot, I never would have tried this deal if I hadnt seen it posted here first!
Were they on 3 4 2? I haven't managed to get anything on 3 4 2 with my 5.00 vouchers. The SA at my local store always put the items through as 3 seperate transactions, if you bring 3 No7 items to the till. I've tried this loads of times:mad: They won't let you use the vouchers against the Burgandy bags either. I went to the Bond Street store this morning and bought 3 with 3 vouchers without a problem. These are well worth buying @ 1.50 as the points vouchers inside the bag are still valid and are worth more than the price of the bag:D0 -

The stuff I got was 3 for 2 (as they were all No.7 items)
But the Glossy Locks and Eye/Lip shimmer were on BOGOF aswell, so you can get 3 things for £1 with a £5 voucher.
*I am sure someone has explained this deal far better than I just have...a few pages back in this thread???*
