Just back from Bootsing. Staines Boots has loads of H&B magazines, and they now have the Botanics body bar back in stock. Result! Bought one and got the Night Shift moisturiser worth £5.99 free.

They also had one last mango delirium gift set left. The box was slightly battered so it had a clearance price sticker for £10. But it went through the till for £5. Anyone know what the full price for this gift set was?

The male SA was gobsmacked that my total purchases came to 5.99. For some reason, the till didn't prompt him to give me a £5 no7 voucher, so I had to ask for one.

Was in the staines brach the other day, where did you get the magazine? Couldnt find it anywhere and had the boyfriend with me so never dared to stay too long.....
  • It's really interesting how things are priced differently in different stores.

I was one of the first into our Boots on Mon am, the thing I really wanted (several?!!) was the No7 make up pallette - there were plenty there last week. There were NONE at all at 75% off.
Today they are mysteriously DOWNSTAIRS at the bottom of the No7 counter, marked 'summer makeup pallette' priced £15!!
The No7 SA also said the 'lipstick pattern' make up bag could not be used with the £5 off voucher as it had been a gift and never for sale. They have loads of them, so I suppose it's worth taking one to the main till?

Also, for anyone with a cold/flu, the Boots Vapour Rub is on BOGOF at £1.79 and there's a voucher for 100 points on any Boots cold remedy in the H&B magazine. It's good in hot water as an inhalant too.
  • Bedshaped, congratulations on graduating in Bootsing in one year! lol. Hope I can say the same next year! Do you do Pigsback to top up your spending? I count the days til my next voucher arrives! xx

    Hi,

The Totes stand in our store isn't marked as being in the sale, but everything seems to be 75% off. Anyway I bought one of the Totes Nightie and Sleep socks sets today and it was £2 down from £20!! So that's 90% off. Great pressie and total bargain.

    Hope that helps someone!

I noticed that about the palettes - even got it scanned and no its not reduced - grrr!
Also I was told by a nice SA today that you can use the vouchers on the no7 gift bags - both styles. Yet in a smaller Boots it didnt work and the SA wouldnt even try it - Baffling or what

Called into the Hanley branch earlier - they had crackers (simpsons, disney, winnie the pooh, boots own) all reduced. Also had loads of the beers in packs with glasses, bottle openers etc (mainly stella). They had a few ladies toiletries inc. Kangol and make up etc (don't ask me what). Also loads of decorations.
