It wasn't work for me either, I used the main till and when the voucher is not taken £5 off, SA tried different till which got the same result so one of the SA went to ask at No.7 till and they said noshetitasatic wrote:The No7 SA also said the 'lipstick pattern' make up bag could not be used with the £5 off voucher as it had been a gift and never for sale. They have loads of them, so I suppose it's worth taking one to the main till?
never mind I got lots of lovely items already anyway

Anyone in the south east with a boots still full of sale stuff? I'm after the no7 £50 box & john Frieda haircare sets mainly
ThanxI'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -
Yesterday i needed new hair straightners so got them and a toy and put it through in one transaction, used my double points voucher. Got my vouchers, put another transaction through with an old voucher and grabbed some reduced gift sets. I had also got 17 toner, at 1st the SA said you cant use the voucher on a gift set, I said she had just put toner through, then she wouldnt let me use double points voucher again, even though it was a two use one. Old crow!
Is it right that you cant use 17 voucher on sale items? and i dont know how they are letting the bags go through if thats the case?

Certainly works on the clearange tights - bought several today and 3 for 2 still worked.
Also today I noticed the boots own brand cold and flue sachets ( like lem sip) were reduced to 99p - so free as you get your money back in points with the 100 point voucher from the Boots magazine at the moment. Worth stocking up.
I have also been able to find a few Botanics products on the clearance shelves - bought a shaving foam for 65p and got a £5 body butter free with it and also 100 points from the magazine.
Not a bad day today!0 -
Just been to Boots in Whitgift Centre Croydon. The cow....Ooops, I mean SA...at the No 7 counter refused to let me have the gift bag with lipsticks on as part of any deal/offer. And the SA on the till gave me a filthy look when she saw the total I had to pay....I got No 7 Glossy locks (£5.50) and Lip/Eye shimmering Screen (£5.50) plus the limited edition lipstick (called 'whisper', priced at £6) for £1 using the the No7 voucher.

Why do the SA's care? Its not as if the savings are coming out of their wages!!!
Anyway, thanks you lot, I never would have tried this deal if I hadnt seen it posted here first! :beer:2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead

Gettin_me_own_back wrote:Boots no 7 make up bags £6.50 did work at 2 different stores with £5 no 7 voucher.
They had these at the Crewe store, the one with the lipstick on. The first one I took through the ordinary till and the girl said she could not scan both, the £5 voucher and the extra points one, wasnt even sure if even one would. So she took the £5 one and of course it scanned. I think this one will do for my daughters birthday, shes worth £1.50 :rotfl:
Then the girl ran off for her lunch, literally so I tried again at the beauty counter and the girl reeled in horror  and refused to take either so she lost a sale!
Resist the temptation to go to either Boots stores in Crewe, far too much hassle

Anyone know of any good bargains still available at Boots in Chichester?
Thanks0 -
the girl on the No7 counter at crewe is a right dragon, (she is not even that old if I remember rightly, and if it is the same one)The sign of a wasted life is a tidy house, Welcome to the chaos!0
