Hi Guys
New to this boots thread. Went into boots today and after hearing about the machine (via a thread here somewhere) in there I popped my advantage card in and got loads of coupons out.
What's the best way the utilises these coupons?
I got:
200 points when I buy No7 age rewind foundation
50 points when I buy any natural collection eyeshadow (excludes reduced lines)
150 points on umberto giannini sleek and chic haircare products
200 points £10 or more on hoisery
100 points on complete skincare foaming face wash or cleansing and toning milk
50 points £7.50 or more on any single transaction
50 points when I buy 2 trevor sorbie minature products
100 points when I buy No7 stay perfect mascara
500 points when I buy any 2 No7 hydro quench skincare products
Save £1 on blushers
Phew.............
Now I am good with the tesco coupons but I need a bit of help with these. Reading all your posts I believe there are ways to use more than one coupon to get products for good prices.
Also what happens if you return products? Do the points get taken off your card?
Sorry for questions.

The No7 Sunless Tanning Kit is not on BOGOF, but buy it with two other suncare products on BOGOF and you'll only pay for the one item.

By the way the No7 Pre-Holiday Mini Skincare Treats is on BOGOF.

The small pvc bag with the cream piping (£5.50) works on the bogof/3 for 2 glitch- but not the self tan starter kit (£6) that looks similar but has brown piping.

So what is actually covered under the Botanics offer and No7 Suncare BOGOF+342 (is that why it is 641 as 341 and then another one (or 3) free? I have also got a 500 points when you spend £17 on Botanics Face and Body Skin Care. Will that be any good? Also, I read about some bags? What is this all about?
Sorry about all the questions but you have to start somewhere and I am just in the middle of working it all out0 -

Botanics- If you buy any product from the botanics range you are able to recieve a moisturiser from the botanics range free. The cheapest items we have found to get the best deal with is the botanics body bar(light blue or dark green pack like soap) at 99p or a botanics body buffer at about £1.50 which you can find in the sponge and bath mitts section. At the moment the boots health &magazine has a 100 points coupon on botanics aswell so if you use this then you are getting £1 in points back anyway.the magazine is free if you get it scanned with your advantage card.there are lost of botanics products you can choose as your freebie- night cream, day cream, eye creams, body lotions, body butter, tinted moisturisers, golden glow moisturisers and mens moisturisers too. Also if you are lucky enough to ahve a boots which still have the botanics gifts sets at 75% off you can buy a gift set and still get a moisturiser free.you could make a big purchase by buying a few products or giftsets to the value of £17 and still get free moisturisers for each item you buy and get 500 points back. They are excellent to use as gifts aswell and a big saving too.
The bags you have heard about are a no7 gift bag which contain some no7 items, lipstick, mascara nailpolish etc and also a 250 point voucher for a further purchase on no7 and a voucher for 300 points on boots vitamins. The bags are selling at £6.50 full price but at the moment boots ahve a promotion-spend £5 get a voucher free for £5 on no7 and £3 on proffesional haircare. Most people are using the voucher to buy the bag at £1.50 then use the vouchers inside to increase points. The bag is burgundy with a gold handle.
The no7 offer is if you buy any 2 suncare products(suncare is on bogof offer for no7) and 1 makeup item (342 offer on no7) you only pay for the makeup as the till deducts amounts for bogof and 342- if you have the no7 £5 voucher mentioned earlier you can get a further discount so you only pay a small amount for 3 high quality items. FloFlo wrote:I bought 2 body bars (light green) and eye cream moisturiser and paid £1.98 with points. No problem. Perhaps try again with a different combination.
It was just that it doesn't seem to work on points and I have quite a lot I'd like to start redeeming. Anyone else experienced this? Thanks to the poster who has previously phoned up CS by the way. Just wondered if there would be a problem with the suncare items and points.Saving money right, left and centre0 -
Well, after another successful Bootsing trip, I am now chilling out with a few glasses of wine, and soon off to the Land of Nod ........ or at least I would if I could get in my bedroom with all the bagfuls of goodies I have got in the last week!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Todays haul included two facial cleansing serums at £4.99 each, free with waffle buffers (I'd stashed two behind some other products last night, hoping no one would find them (and they didn't :T ) - how sad is that??!!) Glossy Locks hair spritz, lip and eye shimmer, and No 7 purple bag ...... plus, John Frieda shape and shine spray using hair £3 coupon .......
Roll on Monday, and can start all over again !!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
