    Hi all

Can I ask more experienced Bootsers if i bought the No7 A R foundation with 2suncare would i only pay for 1? Would both 342 and bogof kick in?

    Thanks

Yes- the chargable item would be the foundation. I think its about £12 normal price???
So £7 if you have the £5 no7 voucher to redeem...plus free box of goodies and coupon....plus 200 points from acm.

    Can't be bad.

PS- with this transaction it would be worth going for the higher priced suncare items such as the spf 25 face cream @ £9.50 or spf 15 body lotion @ £11.50 as they will both be free anyway.

At the moment the boots health &magazine has a 100 points coupon on botanics aswell so if you use this then you are getting £1 in points back anyway.the magazine is free if you get it scanned with your advantage card.there are lost of botanics products you can choose as your freebie- night cream, day cream, eye creams, body lotions, body butter, tinted moisturisers, golden glow moisturisers and mens moisturisers too. Also if you are lucky enough to ahve a boots which still have the botanics gifts sets at 75% off you can buy a gift set and still get a moisturiser free.you could make a big purchase by buying a few products or giftsets to the value of £17 and still get free moisturisers for each item you buy and get 500 points back. They are excellent to use as gifts aswell and a big saving too.

The bags you have heard about are a no7 gift bag which contain some no7 items, lipstick, mascara nailpolish etc and also a 250 point voucher for a further purchase on no7 and a voucher for 300 points on boots vitamins. The bags are selling at £6.50 full price but at the moment boots ahve a promotion-spend £5 get a voucher free for £5 on no7 and £3 on proffesional haircare. Most people are using the voucher to buy the bag at £1.50 then use the vouchers inside to increase points. The bag is burgundy with a gold handle.
The no7 offer is if you buy any 2 suncare products(suncare is on bogof offer for no7) and 1 makeup item (342 offer on no7) you only pay for the makeup as the till deducts amounts for bogof and 342- if you have the no7 £5 voucher mentioned earlier you can get a further discount so you only pay a small amount for 3 high quality items. Hth

So is that what I need to do? Go into Boots and "buy" the magazine to get the 100 points coupon. Then buy all my stuff (excl. bag and suncare products). If over £5.00 I should get a £5 on No7 voucher which I can then either use for the bag or on the suncare products. How much should the total approx. amount to on the suncare? Also, what sort of makeup item does it need to be (or which ones definitely not)? Sorry to be a pain.:o

  • I was in Warrington Gemini store this evening and I was hovering in the NO.7 section with 2 bottles of sunscreen when the very helpful NO.7 SA came over and stated "did you know that the No.7 suncare is on a "double discount" at the moment?" - I pretended to look puzzled and asked her to explain. She said that as the No.7 suncare is going to be re-packaged then they were on a 342 and BOGOF to get rid of them before the new stock arrives. I said that there was no BOGOF signs up and she said it was a "Silent promotion" - no so silent if she reads MSE!!!

Anyway, I didn't know about the 641 offer then and just bought 3 items at £11.50 and paid £6.50 after £5 NO.7 voucher and got another voucher.

I don't know what to make of this, if some of the SA's know about this I can't see why others don't and are being obstructive. Anyway, I may be brave and try the 641 tomorrow - if I do it correctly I will get double what I got today for roughly the same price (I think!).

the other day I asked an SA to scan the electric marble run toy, still £10, today it was reduced to £5 along with a detective kit. These were Boots own brand scientific type toys. None of the other toys were reduced as far as I could see.
Have just checked online, some toys even cheaper there but not all in stock.
    Marble run still £10 online.

If he dumps me because of boots then i have a bagpuss hottie to hug and if i feel miserable i can cheer myself up by ......going to boots.

  • Managed to use my No 7 voucher but what can I spend my haircare voucher on. On the front it limits me to 5 brand names.

Just to mention went to my Boots today and it was half empty - thought it was closing down. I knew it was having a 75% sale but could not get to it all week. Had 75% off last year but it didnt look ransacked!!
