If your bank wants to charge you £8.50 to cancel a DD, I would change banks! Can't you cancel it yourself online?

Firstly, can`t see why your bank is going to charge £8-50 to cancel a DD.
I would guess this is against the DD t&c`s and they are talking complete rubbish.

Secondly, compose a SHORT but accurate email outlining your complaint and send it to the following every day of the week until you get satisfaction.

I am having the same problem, V21 taking money for a service I dont have. I have sent them two recorded delivery letters asking for a refund and threatened court action but no response. Troble is they take payment by credit card and I cant cancel it, only dispute it but in the meantime they keep taking the money.0

The link in post #3 refers to direct debits, you can cancel these without a problem but you can't cancel a regular credit card payment, youn can only dispute it.0

If you read post 3 you would see that the second part of the post is the bit that concerns you.

Be aware that the accounts@biscit.net tells you to forward account queries to accountsmailbox@biscit.net, which.....doesn't exist !!!!
I've sent an email to cancellations@biscit.net but they want 15 days notice !!0
