Biscit Boss Judged On You+yours

Biscit CEO HUGH PATERSON made his SECOND appearance on BBC Radio 4 YOU+YOURS on 11/1/07 to 'explain' why customers are unable to gain support (or even contact) from his company and why MAC codes are not being released.
The programme can be heard via the LISTEN AGAIN facility until 1230 18/1/07 and the sorry tale begins 17 mins in. This thread on a fellow site gives a link;

To summarise; H Paterson failed to answer why no support has been given to the featured aggrieved customer, desperately in need of his MAC code and spending weeks attempting contact with the elusive company. HP merely bragged about his increased support staff. He previously boasted of this on the Biscit website stating a "threefold increase in support staff from 27/11" so how come the unfortunate user had not received any help up to the day of transmission; 44 days after this alleged staff number boosting?
AND how convenient for HP to say the customer would NOW get their request dealt with; a cynical act under such media scrutiny, rightly highlighted by the interviewer. How many others NOT being mentioned on the programme are still awaiting their rightful receipts?
But IMO HP got let off far too lightly. Especially since he stated customers wishing to terminate and receive their MAC code had to write a letter and wait up to a month to be granted their wish. This statement was explicitly contradicted by the OFCOM rep who stated that MAC requests can be made via telephone or email and that the company was OBLIGED TO REPLY IN 5 WORKING DAYS. For those not aware ALL MAC CODES HAVE TO BE SURRENDERED, ON REQUEST, FREE OF CHARGE FROM 14/2/07
It is high time that H Paterson is forced to account for his company's failings to his many critics and if Y+Y receive more evidence from those who have been inconvenienced by prevention of paid for net access, had monies taken and not refunded, or found support and contact non-existent; then maybe HP will be compelled to make a 3RD appearance. And on that occasion be aptly challenged.
Ironically, Biscit connection problems occurred, once again, from 1400 12/1/07 to 1045 13/1/07; same old story. And the Biscit site status report, once again, makes no reference to yet another failure in service.
If one could access the members area (blocked since 6/10/06) then perhaps current t+cs could be viewed and any potential charges for leaving this company determined, to allow an exit from H Paterson and his proven dubious practices.
