Best stove for Water and Room Heating

Any suggestions what make is best? Don't want to spend beyond £800 on one.

I expect I'd need 7KW for this?

Also how do these stoves work, is it simply a matter of moving a lever about to make more heat go to the water supply as opposed to heating the room?

Thanks in advance.

It's hard to tell you how "these stoves work" unless you tell us what sort of stove it is!!
  • Multi-fuel, for a clay pipe, with wrap around boiler for water, not radiators.
  • Looking at a Villager Elite single doored flat top, 9kw, like so http://mylovelystove.com/moreinfo.asp?carID=145

How does this work? Is it possible to devote a certain kw to the room and a certain kw to the water? Need to know this as I'm looking to get a stove next week...
