I am really struggling to keep my eyes open this morning, so I am sat having cuddles with DD1.
I have 2 items advertised 1 on facebook the other on ebay, ebay has 1 bidder at 99p and still 6 days 7 hrs to go. It does make me laugh that my broken items get more interest than the perfect working stuff!
We have heard from the fostering social worker the weekly visits start from friday  Best try and tell DD1 she needs to keep her clothes on longer than 5 minutes

What a lovely way to spend the morning. :rotfl: comment re DD1. DGD2 hates having her clothes removed and loves it when I change her nappy without fully removing her trousers. When her DM and DF turned up earlier she said she needed a nappy but insisted on my doing it instead of them, despite the fact that she was clearly pleased to see them. She's a funny little scrap.

I had a really early night last night, 9:50 and I gave up and went to bed. I don't feel any more awake for it
DS has been dropped to school, now DD1 and DD2 are playing in a wendy house with some dolls. DD2 will be ready for bed again soon. DH said he had to get out twice for DD2 last night which is unusual she kept stripping off and then was too cold to sleep. DD2 is talking a bit more now and saying little phrases, she also knows all the words to the nursery rhyme - Theres a worm at the bottom of the garden.
OK my to do list today
[STRIKE]Empty dishwasher[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean Kitchen[/STRIKE] inc fridge

Although I'm finding 1 item a day to sell I am not selling until the weekends as I seem to get a better response than during the week.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
I have been missing in action!
I have been keeping up with everything at home and trying to make more time for me (which is unheard of!).
Wednesday I went to a nearby town and met someone who was on the fostering course for a cup of tea and chat.
Thursday I spent all day ironing.
Friday DH had a day of so we did what all young couples do in the morning - housework! and in the afternoon we had the social worker comer around and speak to us. She was really nice and said as long as we tell the truth regardless then we should be fine, I think she is looking at Feb/March for us to go to panel.
Today I took the children to the park and went for a long walk
I have a broken iPod on ebay currently at £4.11 with 24hrs to go 7 people are bidding.:D:D
I have loads ready to advertise but I am going to wait until next, I have a few winter coats which are now too small for DD2.
I have tons of baby clothes but I can not bring myself to sell (including DS's):oElectric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
iPod sold I now have £18 sat in paypal now I have to work out how to change my account details or it will just sit there!
My list today
Clean window sills
Tidy DVDs (DD2 loves to pull them out)
Clean down stairs toilet
Put 2 wash loads in.
Hoover once kids have gone to bed.
I have made a few changes at home, nothing major but the kids are not to eat in any room other than the kitchen, and they are being made to tidy there toys now. Silly little things but I am getting so much more time to relax and if we are going to foster I will need to be able to relax!
I have had a really bad back for last few days, I don't know what I have done I may take some paracetamol tonight before I go bed as its kept me up the last few nights.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
Completed all of yesterdays jobs and joined the make £10 a day in October thread, I am aiming for £5 a day and have added to my signature. Good start as I added the paypal payment for my broken iPod! I will have a good turn out and get some more surveys done, I am on £8.75 on one so should only be 1 more survey maybe 2.
DD1 has some injections tonight, she laughed when DD2 had them and cried I bet she don't find it so funny this time lol
My back is still bad but the paracetamol eased it a bit last night so I had a good nights sleep.
I have been watching the news about the little girl April who was abducted, how very sad. I really feel for her parents we also live in an area where you feel the kids can go out and play my girls are too young at the moment but my son often dissapears for the day and has done since he was 7(he has always taken a mobile out). When he had an accident in the woods 3 doctors said to me how nice it was to treat a child who was injured out playing and not couped up all day. Its a difficult one, how can they learn to be street wise as they get older if they can not go out. That's one village that will never be the same again.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
It never rains but Pi33es down
Not only do we have to find £700 for the gas and electric but the council have just informed us they overpaid our housing benefit as WFTC went up and they did their calculations before WFTC so they didn't realise. Its not to much £131 but they will be taking it directly at £15.50 a week, we just can't afford this:(:( Also council tax has gone up by £6 a month  Its no-ones fault everyone was informed of the changes but it don't help when we are so skint.
On the plus side the CSA called and they are going to start paying me £5p/w so can offset that :rotfl::rotfl: Is it sad that I am relieved at this payment £5 p/w
Any ideas on how I can make some money quickly, I feel like cryingElectric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
OK time to stop drowning in my own self pity!
I have a number of bits I have been collecting to sell DH has a day off tomorrow so will get them on, I am also going to sell a top of DS's which he don't like DH wasn't keen in case his Auntie who gifted it see's it but its tough its brand new long sleeve and came from next.
I also have an old cabinet and 2 wardrobes in the garage which I have been saving they can go. If we can afford to move ever then we can re buy.
We have the fostering lady coming out again tomorrow so will ask how quickly we can get to panel.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
Grrrr don't think I can take much more of this:(, now my car needs a new tyre but it will have to be a mobile person that comes out as we had a blow out (luckily 2 minutes from home!). Add to the power steering which needs fixing (my zafira is turning me into popeye :rotfl:) I am looking at about £100 thats excluding labour for the power steering as a bloke in the village offered to do it for free if I can get the parts.
I am sorely tempted to hand the bloody thing back to the finance company its a 2010 model so I shouldn't be having these problems. I am paying £265 p/m which we could do with BUT I need my car DS's school is an hour round trip and if we get through the panel we will need a 7 seater.:mad::mad:
I have a headache and sore throat and the thought of walking DD1 to nursery tomorrow through the lanes is filling me with dread.
I also need to find a childminder for DD2 for a training course I have booked with the fostering so looking at another £30 to pay for that and £15 for DD1 to be in nursery for an extra day.
I think I am going to have a nice bath and try and relax a little!Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
