A S Securi-T Parking Fines

Hi all,
I'd appreciate some advice on the following;
I was a member of Fitness First gym and whilst using the gym received 3 parking 'charges' from A S Securi-T between April and June 2011. Gym members were advised that they were not restricted to 1 hour parking on site.
I continue to receive threatening letters from A S Securi-T and Roxburge Debt Collectors saying I must pay. I have written to both explaining that I was using the gym (the gym is now closed so can't back me up) but they keep failing to acknowledge this and just keep sending threatening letters saying I must pay or I will face court action.
My latest letter from Roxburghe says that they will pass my file to their solicitors, Graham White.
Anyone had any similar experience? Has anyone actually been taken to court?
Having read a few threads I should have probably just ignored all correspondence, but wanted to make it clear I had done no wrong.
Appreciate your help.

Yes you should have ignored it - there is no appeal process with a fake PCN scam, they lie to get info out of you and to mimic a real Council PCN. But no harm done. There are posts on here every day about Roxburghe and when they pretend to be Graham White solicitors (it's still Roxburghe using different headed notepaper, not a solicitor!).
Anyway you need to read a few more threads; read the sticky threads at the top of the forum called 'PPC letters, what to expect' and 'welcome, please read before posting':
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163
You haven't had a parking fine, so you didn't get a 'PCN' at all! This is a fake one plonked on the car in the hope you are stupid enough to pay. Do not be a victim.
You are now in the middle of a mail scam, you will receive some more scary letters (ooo-er!). But panic not, the letters are part of the scam so just ignore them like you would if you got a series of phishing emails telling you that you'd won the Nigerian Lottery and just had to supply your Bank details to collect your winnings...
If you haven't seen it yet, you need to see the Watchdog paper aeroplane excerpt which is linked in one of those sticky (info) threads:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...play.php?f=163
It's an absolute must-see for people who actually think a Private parking fake ticket is a real one. The Watchdog link (featuring an expert solicitor called Tim Cary) is on the sticky thread near the top of that list called 'WELCOME, please read before posting'!!!!
From now on, play a fun game of snap with each matching letter as it arrives. You can easily predict the next one, and the last one - it's quite fun! You will not go to Court, no-one will come knocking, no bailiff will call.
Nothing about ignoring this con will affect your credit rating, just keep ignoring. Next time just laugh if ever your car collects a piece of unwanted rubbish called a parking charge notice (a real PCN is a penalty charge notice).
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Naughty Naughty A S Securi-T = 19/07/2011 STRUCK OFF AND DISSOLVED
So who are Roxbourghe pursuing for?
Hope the pass any payments to the OR!0 -
Yes they were stuck off and dissolved on 19/07/2011! so anything owing to them would need to be paid to the official receiver dealing with their debts. It may be worth finding out who it is and telling them Roxburghe are collecting money owed to them!

Now showing on BPA Approved Operators Scheme is VP Parking Solutions t/a A S Securi-T . VP Parking Solutions Ltd registered on 29 Jan 2011
Address shown as Office 70, 150 High St Southampton SO14 2BT with Valdev Athwal as a Director
AS Securi-T website does not appear to make any reference to VP Parking Solutions Ltd
A Jason Melvin White also shows up on a list of directors at the above accommodation address. Could it be the notorious clamper ?0 -
Jason White does operate Whites clamping firm in Southampton so I reckon it must be him. Very notorious, obviously one of many clampers concentrating on ticketing as well, in the knowledge that his easy moneymaking scheme (clamping and threatening people) is soon to be stopped.PRIVATE 'PCN'? For all those who have fallen foul of AS Securi T Ltd please note, I have today received a letter from Mr Stephen EVEMY of the Southampton Receivers Office.
This was in response to an enquiry I made with him a couple of days ago, having got wind that AS Securi T were no longer trading.
He confirms that on 6 April 2011; the Company was wound up by order of the High Court in London on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs.
He explains that the Director of AS told him that they had in fact ceased trading in January 2011.
Although the Director of AS has since started up as VP Parking Solutions, that he (the Director) has not purchased the assets of As Securi T from the Official Receiver.
Therefore the new Company (VP) does not have any rights under its previous guise as AS.
He closes asking for any correspondence I have received from AS Securi T to be forwarded to him to assist with his enquiries into the Companies affairs.
If anyone wants to send their threatening letters from AS to Mr Evemy, he can be found Via the Official Receivers Office Suite A Waterside House, Southampton, SO14 2AQ.
Ironic thing is they annoyed me by trying to get money from me for parking a car that wasn't mine, nor was I the driver of that vehicle.
So my advice is don't get angry get even and lets put AS Securi T right where they belong in Court.0 -
Fair enough but my advice is just ignore and not contact anyone. Never know wot trolls you can get !!;):rotfl:0
-
Fair enough, of course people can make their own minds up, I assume you are worried the OR might come after people for the fines, I would think very unlikely, as as previously stated they are not enforcible by AS, so should be as unenforcible by the OR.
On a personal level I'll be sending my threatening letter collection onwards, the fine for the car ;(that I don't have anyway), was levied after the date they were wound up, and sometime after the OR Office was told the Company had ceased trading (Jan 2011).
The fact that they've continued to pursue a claim that originated when they were in fact out of business; almost seems fraudulent.
Bottom line, AS are no more, but there are plenty more sharks out there, if there's one thing I've learned it's dig deep into the Internet and don't panic, keep calm.0
