Bought some cute Christmas hanging photo frames, worked out at 16p each - the passport-sized school photos fit into them perfectly - would be nice little gifts. This was in the Honiton store.

24/7 Tescos in Scotland are just that 24/7 :)

Are they open all day and night on Sundays as well?? I would love to get my shopping on Sunday evenings, there's never nothing on the telly then!!
If at first you don't succeed ........ ;) Alternative autism therapies should be free!!
  • Nothing for 1p yet in the Abingdon store :(
  • Tesco in Stevenage - no 1p bargains, everything still 75% off
2007 Olympic Challange - Going for Bronze - Total so far: £98.25
  • Bournemouth Extra, no 1p bargains. Rolls of wrap 24p, gift tags 15p, fluffy lights £2.49. Didn't really have much in there. Was a 10ft slim Xmas tree for £22 instead of something like £80. Bargain. If you've got somewhere to put it!!

Yes! The only thing you are bound by are the licensing laws which extend to gift sets including any drink as an assistant pointed out to me when I bought a reduced minature of whisky that she thought she would buy but as she finished at 10.00 pm she wouldn't be able to buy when she finished work.

I dont know who the guy was (he was walking and talking with the store manager) but whilst I was in Tesco looking at the xmas reduced stuff on Tuesday this week I overheard him saying "All this is going to 1p next week",whilst stood in the reduced aisle
Now thats all I heard and I dont know if this is Nationwide,or if this was just the area manager but thats what I have heard wiv my own little ears :D:D:D

You weren't near the 2p chews were you?
It's not the taking part but the winning that counts.

As far as I know it's only Extra stores that are true 24/7 stores.

My local was 24 hours but closed on a Sunday evening, now it's an Extra it never closes apart from holidays.
