TESCO sale 1p!!

I dont know who the guy was (he was walking and talking with the store manager) but whilst I was in Tesco looking at the xmas reduced stuff on Tuesday this week I overheard him saying "All this is going to 1p next week",whilst stood in the reduced aisle
Now thats all I heard and I dont know if this is Nationwide,or if this was just the area manager but thats what I have heard wiv my own little ears

my belief was always that penny stock was discontinued stock, and usually chucked (unless your very lucky and somethings missed)

I heard the same thing when I was instore on tuesday night the Lady said"It will all be 1p next week"..Don't know what day though..It's probably the xmas gifts/cards etc if there's any left in your store

I got a load of 1p goodies after Christmas last year from Tesco. Most were tucked away on the discontinued shelf and I just checked them on the price scanner before taking them to the till.
