Help - should I report

Thank you but this is not a childs scooter, it is a proper big thing with handlebars and a big enough body to carry a driver and passenger behind him.
I'm not trying to drop the lads into any trouble, but todays antics have led me to believe I must report them - if only to clear my concience because I would hate something awfull to happen and then find that I could have done something to have prevented it.
Thankyou all again, I really appreciate you thoughtful replies

frugalmacdugal thank you for that link, i've scratched my head reading it, not being a driver etc, but I think I get its drift, certainly makes me realise how little I know about todays vehicles (?)
Not that I'm really a dinosaur - we are not all old fogeys, even though I will admit to being of a certain age - well that's my excuse for waving at fire engines (not when on a shout)

?????????????????????
Note this has pedals too.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Have you swallowed a William Shakespear novel by perchance?
Could you list Shakespear's novels, please? You obviously know something denied to the rest of the literary world.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Thank you strider, no that's not the one.
An update, my superviser has just called to tell me that a special policeman will be coming to see me this afternoon, a taxi driver has also made a report (knowing my luck they won't show up today).
Thank you all for your support.

Can you name any of Shakespear's plays? I can't but I can name a few of Shakespeare's plays.

Well they did turn up - a few minutes later than usual.
Unfortunately my pc was called away just before for an emergency - fair enough.
so hopefuly he will still try to catch them at it to issue a ticket (?) under section something or other, however, it seems that if they are indeed under 16 there is not a lot he can do about it - grrrrr.
Am I the only one who is wondering why/how the parents let this go on?
no don't answer that - just having read an awfully truthful policemans blog - maybe it's best not to.
anyway pc is not giving up and is determined to catch them, and I believe him too.
thanks all

Update
yeah said pc must have had a word because today another special pc nabbed the lad and he was not pleased especially when said pc took his name and adress.
It appears that the "scooter" is actually an electric bicycle (!)shaped like a skooter!
- so illegal on pavement.
lovely pc told me to let me know of any further problems, so that he could maybe visit youths parents.
result me thinks.

If you really want to play pedant then you're both right (or both wrong). His name was never spelled consistently during his lifetime. Indeed the 6 surviving signatures by the man himself are all spelled differently:
Willm Shakp
William Shaksper
Wm Shakspe
William Shakspere
Willm Shakspere
William Shakspeare
i.e. not one of those signatures is spelled the same as recommended by either of our MSE pedants.
At various points in history different spellings have been most common. Lum is right that Shakespeare is the common spelling today, but in the past Shakespear would have been the most common.
